So if y'all check the news post this is something we're bringing back from our old days of fedding when Hardcore 24/7 boards were prominent in about every fed. You can get extremely creative with it and have all kinds of fun. So here's how it works.
We're going to create a board that is specifically listed as Hardcore 24/7 and the rules are simple. Keep it realistic (obviously). That's is honestly about all there is to it on your end.
Realism with this involves that there's NO killing (Yeah this had to become a rule at one point) but I know pretty much everybody here is far above that, minus maybe some new people, but even still Im sure you all are. Realism also means that in your small piece that you write, the opponent(s) must have somewhat of a fighting chance.
Because when you think back to the 24/7 on TV, it wasn't somebody getting jumped and beaten so badly into a pulp that there's no way they'd be getting up. Weapons are cool obviously, and creativity is key but your opponent must be able to withstand a fighting chance, it's a courtesy to them as a handler.
Only staff can make the 3 count. If a member of management sees that a pin has been made, we can (and will) count the pin and/or submission as soon as we see it. We will also probably include some of this into the show which means there will be some title changes BUT the Hardcore 24/7 does NOT go on your W/L/D record for those of you who keep track. This also means that we will put a hold on the board as we go into a show, just in case we decide that we want to include it because when it comes show time our entire focus is on the show, and it will not be on the board.
One last thing. If you make a pin or submission and you're waiting for the call you CANNOT tell management that you've done it or else we're not going to count it. It's not fair for the others. But since there's 3 of us and we're all on during multiple different hours of the day you should have no problem getting a count from us unless the champ gets away first.
And that's pretty much all there is to it. I had some of the most fun times writing on these boards when they were around and I hope you all do to. If you're ever bored just jump in. Not sure JUST yet if we're going to open the board right away or after the show since that's coming up but you all will know very soon!
