Shawna Martinez w/Frank Washington and Wolf Parker vs Drew Stevenson
Shawna Martinez w/Frank Washington and Wolf Parker vs Drew Stevenson
The arena lights suddenly just shut off consuming the arena into complete darkness. The sudden engulfing of a massive bright spotlight shines down onto the entry area, the fans try looking through it but it is far too bright to see through it with the naked eye. Suddenly, the public address sound system comes on playing "I'm The Man" by Aloe Blac as the stage is still engulfed in the massive light. After a few seconds, the spotlight begins fading away and the arena lights return to life as there stands Drew Stevenson with his hands on his hips just looking out nodding as these fans deafen the arena cheering him, he just begins walking down the aisle sporting his usual attire which consists of dark green wrestling trunks, dark green knee pads, boots and his hands taped up in dark green tape as well.
Gavin Grey: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing 250lbs “The Emerald” Drew Stevenson!
Smith: This match is easily Supercard quality in an of itself. This match is over one year in the making ladies and gentlemen. Over in GGW Shawna and Drew had an awful lot of bad blood between them and now they finally get to square off in the middle of the ring.
DIC: There's nowhere for Drew to hide now! He can wear that brave face all he wants, he can preach how he's isn't intimidated and how he's a "changed man" but I don't believe him for a moment! This is a man that's lost damn near everything, you can't tell me he doesn't have some doubt creeping in the back of his mind.
Smith: Despite how I personally feel about this man one thing is for sure; he's never had a confidence problem and I don't think he ever will. He knows what he's capable of, he's wrestled around the world. But he can't look past Shawna here tonight towards Frank.
He begins walking down the aisle until he gets down to the ring, he quickly rolls into the ring from under the bottom rope immediately getting back to his feet just pacing the ring simply awaiting for the bell to ring thus getting this match underway.
The light in the arena suddenly goes out, when the first notes of 'Handwritten' by the Gaslight Anthem hit. With the crowd jumping from their seats, there is a single red spot falling onto the top of the entrance ramp. Moments later the well built Amazon- like Shawna Martinez steps out. With the fans erupting in loud boos she starts to walk down the ramp. The Italian Beauty posing a few seconds in front of the ring, before finally entering.- taking a seat on the turnbuckle. Raising both her arms, then sliding off in a very graceful manner.
Gavin Grey: And his opponent, now residing in Dublin, Ireland she is the first ever MSW Women's Champion, the “Impassable” Shawna Martinez!
Smith: Something looks off here. Frank Washington and Wolf Parker were supposed to be accompanying her to ringside but here she is alone.
DIC: Frank Washington is a strategist so it shouldn't be surprised that his wife has some brains to go with that beauty of hers. Normally she wouldn't quite be my type Smith but this woman is an Amazon, she's a warrior. Would I want to see her in my bed? Well... I wouldn't exactly kick her out of it.
Smith: You're just saying that because you're intimidated by her.
DIC: Ok, yes, a little. You kidding me? I don't want to be sleepin' with the fishes! Mafia ties? Frank Washington and that lunatic Wolf Parker on her side? I'm perfectly happy living right now thank you.
Smith: How you haven't been sued yet for sexual harassment is a minor miracle in and of itself. Still you do have a point buried under all of that sexism; she is a warrior and she most certainly isn't stupid. I've had the pleasure to get to know her quite well over the last few years, Frank and her did name their son after me. I know a lot of emotions have to be swirling in her head, and understandably so after what happened in GGW last year and to face Drew Stevenson in her first match back in over a year, that'll put just about anyone on a bit of an edge. Drew Stevenson better have eyes in the back of his head for this one.

Baskkin Röbbins, veteran referee from the RWD, an MSW spin-off from the first season is the official for this match as he calls for the match to start. Shawna gets into an aggressive collar and elbow tie up with Drew, sending him backwards a few steps as he wasn't quite braced properly, his footwork slightly off as she tries to drive him back towards the corner. Stevenson however was able to re-establish himself and found himself on the better end of this exchange and quickly transitions to a side headlock takedown, taking Shawna to the mat. Wrenching back he has her locked in tight as Röbbins kneels down to get a good view of the action. Shawna however manages to slip out as she manages to capture Stevenson in a headlock scissor hold and she re-positions herself and rains down with a few sharp elbows to the ribs. Stevenson however manages to endure the onslaught as he manages to pick himself up off the mat, with Shawna soon as well as she kept that headlock scissor locked in tightly. Stevenson quickly goes for a powerbomb but again Shawna found a way to re-position herself, transitioning into an octopus hold.
Smith: Shawna definitely hasn't lost her touch, if anything she's improved. Maybe it's her dedication to the gym or maybe she sat down with Frank to dissect her opponent to pick up on some of his tendencies. Regardless right now she is going toe-to-toe with Drew Stevenson in his own element.
DIC: And the longer this match goes the worse off Stevenson has to be. That bum leg won't be able to hold up.
Stevenson dropped to a knee as Röbbins asked Stevenson if he wanted to quit, who vigorously shook his head. Stevenson struggled getting back to his feet as he knee buckled a little on the way back up which only encouraged Shawna even more to continue doing what she was doing. Finally though Stevenson was back to his feet and he quickly backed in roughly into the corner, causing Shawna to relent her grasp upon impact. Shawna quickly got back to her feet but not before Stevenson went for a few knife edge chops to back her into the corner. The chops echo'd throughout the arena as the crowd shout out a loud “WOOOOOOO!” as Stevenson began to go to town on the wife of his mortal enemy.
WOOOOOOO!

WOOOOOOO!

Stevenson backs off for a clean break as Shawna grabbed her upper chest, which was turning red from the impact. As Stevenson went back to the corner Shawna tried to jab a thumb to the eye but Stevenson had this one scouted as he caught her hand and quickly slammed her down with an armbar takedown!
Smith: Well Drew Stevenson did his homework. It was an ok counter, about par.
DIC: Come on Smitty, I know you want to just tear him down.
Smith: I have to remain professional, DIC. It is my job to call the action.
DIC: Just come over to the darkside already! You're already best friends with my favorite wrestler, Frank Washington; you might as well go all the way and take that leap! You'll feel better once you do!
Smith: ...
Röbbins this time asks Shawna if she wishes to quit as she shouted back in defiance as Stevenson had transitioned from the armbar takedown into a crippler crossface. Shawna reached for the ropes as Stevenson was now sticking to his gameplan, perhaps remembering her injury history and to test the surgical repairs as they've been tested again and again in the squared circle. Shawna teases tapping out once or twice before clinching her fist and slamming the mat once in frustration as to not give the illusion of tapping out. Just when it looked like she may finally cave she managed to shift her weight backwards, rolling as Stevenson appeared to be momentarily trapped inside a pin attempt. 1! 2! TH-
Shawna managed to hook the leg for added leverage to prevent Stevenson rolling through with her momentum. Out of instinct Stevenson released the hold and kicked out to save the match for himself but Shawna kept a cobra's grip on his leg, the very same one Frank Washington instructed Matt Ward to target on the prior Unstoppable, clutching on to the leg she begins to slam the knee repeatedly into the mat upon rolling Stevenson over on his stomach. There wasn't too much Stevenson could do as the pain begins to shoot out through his body before Shawna fell backwards, still holding onto the leg as she fell backwards, arching her back as she drove her foot into the back of his leg.
Smith: And now Shawna is working on that leg that Matt Ward and Chris Orton targeted earlier tonight. I'm actually surprised at how technical this affair has been. You'd figure with all the bad blood they have between one another it would've just devolved into a bar room brawl.
DIC: Well sometimes a bit of finesse is better than rolling through like a bull in a china shop. You know Shawna has to enjoy slowly tearing him apart like this. Revenge is a dish best served cold afterall.
Stevenson shakes his head as he tries to lift himself up off the mat, trying to alleviate the pressure on his leg all the while trying to crawl towards the ropes. The ropes were a good third of a ring's length away and not making much headway Röbbins again asks Stevenson if he wishes to submit and this time he gives no answer; he just keeps trying to reach for the ropes. Röbbins begins to wonder if he should call the match on medical grounds as Shawna appeared to be intent on snapping his leg in two but ultimately does not throw in the towel on Drew Stevenson's behalf as he's still actively trying to defend himself. Finally Stevenson was somehow able to slip free from Shawna's grip as he rolls through much to her shock and manages to catch Shawna's arm in her brief confusion as she once again found herself within the clutches of a crippler crossface!
TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP!
TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP!
TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP!
TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP!
TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP! TAP SHAWNA TAP!
Smith: How did Drew Stevenson manage to reverse that?
DIC: Well... he is one of the world's greatest technical wrestlers. Not like it'll matter much though, karma is about to collect upon his debt that's long overdue. It's only a matter of time before that leg snaps, if not tonight sometime soon.
Shawna desperately crawls towards the ropes before trying to roll through but the same counter wasn't going to work twice on Stevenson as he rolled through, with the hold locked in tighter than ever. That may have been the end for Shawna but fortunately such a reversal attempt brought her close to the ropes, her feet just a few short inches away. Much to the crowd's delight however Shawna's hand began to slap against the mat repeatedly as Röbbins called for the bell.
Gavin Grey: Here is your winner, by submission... Drew Steve-
Röbbins quickly cut Gavin Grey off as when he checked Shawna's foot was on the bottom rope, vigorously waving the submission off and ordering this match to continue.
SHE TAPPED OUT! SHE TAPPED OUT! SHE TAPPED OUT! SHE TAPPED OUT! SHE TAPPED OUT! SHE TAPPED OUT! SHE TAPPED OUT!
Röbbins: I DISAGREE!
Röbbins kicks the bottom rope several times as the crowd roared back with their disgust
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
DIC: HAHA! Rule 26 of Baskkin Röbbins rules for officiating: A submission is declared null and void if either wrestler is touching the ropes. Furthermore the wrestler must break the hold by a count of 5 or be disqualified. What a classic!
Smith: Shawna did tap out but only after she got her foot on the bottom rope first. It may be a questionable tactic to cause such a false finish but it's for all intents and purposes legal. She's preserving herself while also buying herself just a little bit of time to recover.
Stevenson can't believe it as he just managed to get to his feet raising his arms in the air before Röbbins ordered the match to continue. Before the match could continue though the big screen flickered to life.
Frank Washington: Drew! Hey, Drew! I hope I'm not interrupting anything important.
Stevenson leans against the ropes, his leg still sore, his eyes periodically shifting to Shawna before going back to the screen.
Frank Washington: I bet you're wondering exactly why I wasn't out at ringside like advertised. I'm sure you were just dying to get your hands on me, to be standing face to face once again but... I had business of my own to tend to this evening. You see ever since MSW's humble beginnings the backstage area always had a bit of a... family atmosphere, wouldn't you agree? Everyone coming together for the good of the fed to make the Big Guy proud.
Smith: Oh no... Frank... no... no... no...
Frank Washington: So I decided, what the hell; a reunion was in order.
The camera panned over to Danny Stevenson laying on the floor in the living room of his house.
Frank Washington: After all, Danny was the one who gave me my job at Talent Relations before he sold the company.
Frank begins to stomp on him repeatedly as Stevenson was absolutely livid now in the ring, able to do nothing but watch. Danny begins to stir, trying to crawl towards a nearby chair to pull himself up as Frank momentarily stopped as a sick smile crept across his face. He was enjoying watching Danny Stevenson, Drew's own flesh and blood in such a vulnerable state knowing that it'd be impossible for Drew to get there in time.
Frank Washington: I always loved Danny. He was that elder statesmen that everyone always revered and respected. A veteran of this business, a wrestler in his own right back in the day. It breaks my heart to have to do this to such a Legend of the business but ultimately the Uncle has to pay for the sins of the Nephew. Isn't that right, Danny?
Danny attempts to speak, his eyes pleading with Frank to stop but he gets kicked right in the jaw just as he's about to open his mouth.
Smith: Why are you doing this Frank?! Why?! Danny didn't do anything wrong!
DIC: His name is Stevenson, you kidding me? That's the biggest crime of all right there; sharing blood with that traitor!
Frank Washington: You started this Drew. You started this when you broke my leg, you continued this after you set your targets on my wife, when you went after my family. It wasn't bad enough that you tried to end my career, you wanted to end hers as well. You think I don't remember how you taunted and tried to torment her after I was out of the picture, did you think I forgot?!
Drew Stevenson leaned over the top rope as he yelled at the top of his lungs at Frank.
Drew Stevenson: LEAVE HIM ALONE! THIS FIGHT IS BETWEEN YOU AND I FRANK! LEAVE DANNY ALONE! LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS!
Frank Washington: When I showed the world that Smoking Gun I vowed then and there to make your life miserable, I made a promise to take everything away from you piece by piece until all that remained was the shell of a broken man before finally I take you out to pasture and end your career. If there's one thing I learned during your exertion wrestling in the parking lot that legal avenues will only hit you so hard; that so long as you had what mattered most to you in tact and in one piece you would find a way to persevere. You see I know your Achilles heel and I know where to hit you the hardest.
With a sick grin Frank grabs a wooden TV tray leaning against the entertainment center and begins to hit Danny Stevenson repeatedly with it. WHACK after WHACK, CRACK after CRACK until the wood begins to break and splinter, all the while Danny Stevenson attempts to get up, he attempts to protect himself but he's unable to weather the onslaught, his eyes weary, tearful from the pain both physically and emotionally being inflicted upon by a man he once saw as one of his own sons.
Smith: DAMMIT! STOP THIS! Stop it Frank! Not for Drew but for Danny! Drew has blood on his hands but Danny is innocent! He had nothing to do with this! Why Frank, why?! This is senseless! Senseless violence!
DIC: War is hell Smith, and right now Danny Boy is a casualty of war! Don't yell at Frank to stop, yell for Drew to lay himself down at his mercy! Danny's blood is on Drew's hands!
Drew Stevenson: NO! FRANK, STOP! STOP!
Frank tosses the busted tray aside as he grabs a nearby lamp, yanking it out of the electrical socket as the room dims just a little as he stalks Danny Stevenson like prey, a shark smelling blood in the water. As Danny begins to crawl, disoriented he finds his way to a nearby table as he begins to inch towards the kitchen. As he finally gets up he turns around as Frank shatters the lamp into a million pieces as he smashes it directly on top of his head, cutting his forehead badly upon impact as a geyser of blood begins to gush out.
Smith: Danny Stevenson is hurt... he's hurt badly. That glass dug right into his head... Frank...
Smith was absolutely stunned, his personal feelings for Drew being overwhelmed by just how much his heart ached for Danny. DIC of course was laughing as he saw the lamp become a jigsaw of shards laying on the ground.
DIC: ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME!
Drew Stevenson dropped to his knees as he felt powerless. He was seeing his Uncle get systematically destroyed right before his very eyes and caught up in the moment he forgot a match was even still going on as Shawna Martinez had quietly slid out of the ring.
Frank Washington: You could've avoided all of this Drew! You could have avoided all of this heartache had you never put that knife in my hand and followed your own damned greed. You had a brother that went to hell and back for you and was willing to do it all over again; someone that fought together with you in the trenches. I would have taken a bullet for you, for any of the Jokers Wild way back when; but you always had to have the spotlight at the expense of everyone else.
Frank grabs Danny by the back of his shirt and begins to drag him back towards the living room, leaving a trail of blood in his wake.
Frank Washington: Tell me Drew... was it worth it?
Frank begins to rip Danny's shirt off of him, the fabric tearing and ripping right off his body. Frank then slowly begins to undo his black leather belt, sliding it off of his pants.
Frank Washington: Well, was it?!
Frank folds his belt in two as he begins to repeatedly lash it against Danny's back as he screamed in horrible pain, sobbing throughout the beating. The belt leaving red lines, welts even as he kept on going and going for what seemed like forever but in reality no more than just a minute or so.
Frank Washington: Was it worth spilling the blood of your Uncle?
Smith: Enough... ENOUGH! You proved your point Frank! Stop torturing the old man! This is unnerving... this is upsetting! Why... why are you doing this?
DIC: Because he can Smith. This is the monster Drew Stevenson awoke from a deep slumber. Everyone has a dark side capable of many many unspeakable things and with enough prodding anyone can be driven to it. Drew made Frank snap, this is all on his hands.
At this point Drew Stevenson was overcome with anger and grief yet paralyzed all the same, an unwilling passenger. Frank tosses his belt aside as he rolled Danny over and grabbed him by the jaw, his face completely painted a crimson red now.
Frank Washington: As a former wrestler, as a family man... you know why I'm doing what I'm doing.
Frank catches the glass coffee table sitting in the middle of the living room out of the corner of his eye as he wore a sadistic grin on his face.
Frank Washington: Che peccato...
Brushing up on his Italian Frank slowly manages to pick Danny Stevenson up off the ground, his body having difficulty holding up his own weight due to the blood loss. He locks his head tight under his arm as he backs up as he begins to lift him up.
Smith: No no no no no. Don't do it!
Frank lifts him up high, hooking onto his leg as he drives him right through the table with The G.O.A.T., The Greatest of All Time, his patented Fisherman Buster. The glass could be heard shattering as Drew's head drooped down in defeat as he buried his face in his hands.
Frank Washington: That's life; you target my wife I target your Uncle. It didn't have to be this way Drew, it never had to be this way but you put us both on this path the moment you stabbed me in the back for your own personal gain.
Just when it looked like things were mercifully over however the bell quickly began to ring furiously as Wolf Parker ambushed Drew Stevenson from behind! Shawna quickly joined in as the two began their assault, quickly kicking and stomping on him as Drew Stevenson was so focused on the big screen that he lost track of his surroundings. Drew Stevenson fought valiantly against the odds, momentarily managing to fight his way out of a corner as he was able to separate from Shawna and clotheslined Wolf straight to the mat. Much to the crowd's delight he was looking to hit Wolf with the Final Conflict but right before he could lift him up Shawna dropped down and hit him with a low blow. All the while Frank had managed to sit a bloodied Danny Stevenson up against his own couch, his arm around him like a dear friend, ironic given the circumstances as Danny's TV just happened to be tuned into Unstoppable. Wolf quickly grabs a chair from under the ring and slides it back in as Shawna quickly fits it around Drew's leg.
DIC: Drew Stevenson may have won by disqualification here but he's about to lose the war!
Smith: …
Just when it looked like Shawna was going to shatter his leg Scotty Addams came running out from the back with a chair in hand as Shawna and Wolf quickly split out of the ring and hopped over the barricade. Scotty checks on his friend.
DIC: You got lucky there Drew! You were a mere second away from being done! Thank your lucky stars you live to fight another day.
Smith: Lets.. lets just cut to commercial break. We'll be right back...
