In the office of Big Dan Stevenson is a tall raven haired woman looking over the contracts that have been turned in for the men and women fighting in MSW.. So far she has seen no issues and when Big Dan asked her to come in just to use her knowledge of the business well she couldn't say no..
Big Dan : Now Rebecca I have not told Drew or Justin yet about your arrival..
Rebecca : No worries I will go by his office first thing after I have finished filing away these..
Big Dan : Now you do know you have no management powers here in MSW..
Rebecca turned towards Big Dan with a smile on her face..
Rebecca : Danny.. Don't worry.. I came here because you asked for an assistant in this..
She pointed at the paperwork..
Rebecca : I have left my fighting days in the ring where they belong.. The past.. But I do know this business.. I know my way with contracts along with the good and bad ones.. Like the ones thinking they can wrangle you out a shit load of cash while this is for all clear to see not a commercial big time money place.. You got a good place going and you do not need the money sharks..
Big Dan : Yeah and I like it that way..
Rebecca : Big money people come with big time headaches.. Believe me.. I know..
Big Dan : Okay so you know this is all there is right.. What they see is what they get..
Rebecca : I noticed a few big names in the line up.. None of those would ever need to worry about money.. Some come from nothing and are more then happy making a steady paycheck.. And I seen a few that could be trouble.. But nothing we can not handle.. Contracts are clear and see through and I forsee no worries there..
Big Dan : I am glad you said yes though..
Rebecca : I am not on the paylist.. It isn't like I would need to make a paycheck ever.. I made sure my future is well in order..
Big Dan : So you are doing this why?
Rebecca : I will sign an employment contract just to cover the insurance basics but I don't need the money that is better spend on new fresh talent..
Big Dan : Then why?
Rebecca : Because I love this business.. Nothing more.. Nothing less..
Big Dan : That's what she said..
Rebecca laughed and nodded..
Rebecca : Yeah.. Let's just say that she should never.. ever have to worry about making ends meet.. She did what I did.. When she was making the big money in the big time commercial federations she started investing it.. And it paid off.. Like me.. She is set for life..
Big Dan : So the love of the business.. That is what brought you both here..
Rebecca : The love of the business and some of the men playing this game I should think... Considering the last time I talke to her she was staying with Matt at his hotelroom.. I would say that the men play a part to..
Big Dan : And what about Drew..
Rebecca : You big gossip.. But yeah she told Drew.. She loves him.. But sometimes you find that you love someone else more..
Big Dan nodded and Rebecca finished up the last of the contracts.. Setting aside her reading glasses she smiled and put them in the cabinet..
Rebecca : That part is done.. I want to take a look around the place.. Get a good feel for it.. I have seen some interesting talent on the roster.. I can not wait until the next show..
Big Dan : Feel free to look around and if you need anything just call me okay..
Rebecca : Okay Dan..
Rebecca leaned in and kissed him on the cheek before leaving his office.. Her business attire made her nearly impossible to recognize.. Black pencil skirt.. White blouse and black blazer combined with black high heels were a stark contrast to the norm she used to wear.. She looked around the hallways and found the direction of the gym area.. She might as well go there to check it out.. Place was deserted accept for the back corner where the weights were located.. Working as hard as ever on them was none other then Drew Stevenson.. She walked over to the windows and sat down on the windowsill just watching him waiting for him to notice her.. He had earphones in and was fully focused on getting his work-out done.. Just as he was done he went to look around for someone to spot for him with the bench press when he saw that he was alone in the gym until he turned around and saw Rebecca sitting on the windowsill.. He yanked the earphones out and walked towards her..
Drew : This can not be true..
Rebecca : It is.. Hello Drew..
She grabbed his towel and dabbed his chest and neck..
Drew : Rebecca... Damn it has been to long..
Rebecca : I would hug you but it would ruin this fine suit..
Drew smiled and pulled her in for a big hug anyway.. Holding her close he looked into her eyes..
Drew : F*ck it has been way to long..
Rebecca : Yeah well I retired..
Drew : What brought you back..
Rebecca : I am not back.. Not active.. I am the assistant of Big Dan.. I will do the paperwork so you boys can focus on running the place and the shows.. I just do the paperwork..
Drew : I need a spotter..
Rebecca : I'll help.. You messed up the suit already so I can handle a little weights..
Drew went to do his bench press routine and Rebecca noticed he was in no way paying attention to what the hell he was doing or how often.. She counted though.. His focus was on her, his eyes roaming all over her body..
Rebecca : 50 reps is enough.. I should think..
Drew : Oh uh yeah..
Rebecca : I am going to change into something not drenched in your sweat.. Grab a shower Drew... I will be back in Big Dan's office if you need me..
Rebecca felt his eyes on her as she walked out of the gym.. She grabbed some fresh clothes from her bag and changed swiftly and returned to Big Dan's office..
Big Dan : What happened.. You changed your outfit..
Rebecca : Drew was working out in the gym and well all sweaty and smelly decided to give me a bear hug.. Do the math..
Rebecca laughed and Big Dan just shook his head..
Big Dan : This is the load of radio stations and interview requests we got in after our second show..
Rebecca : I will see who fits what and gets send over..
Big Dan : Then I will leave you to it.. You can sit at my desk for it because I will be off for the day..
Rebecca : Okay Big Dan..
Rebecca went to sit down behind the big desk and grabbed her laptop and set it up she looked over the requests and began on dividing the many requests that were starting to stream in with the success of the first two shows.. She was emerged into her work in no time and lost track of time as she typed up a storm...

After a little while had passed, a sweaty Stevenson entered into the office and saw a hard working Rebecca Curci behind the desk doing some work. With a white towel draped around his neck, a shirtless Stevenson who was wearing black workout pants walked up to Rebecca’s desk.
Drew, “Has there been any calls Ms. Curci?”
Rebecca, “No calls for you Mr. Stevenson!”
Nodding his head, he takes in a deep breath and reaches back to rub the back of his neck.
Drew, “Ms. Curci, I’m getting ready to hit the showers but um... After I’m through do you want to grab a bite to eat?”
Standing before her, he was still a sweaty, smelly mess but that would all change here soon enough. Smiling softly, he patiently waited to hear her response.

Rebecca smiled at him and nodded..
Rebecca : Sure why not.. I will make sure these papers are delivered to the wrestlers so they know where to go and when to be there and then I am all done for the day..
Drew : Okay I should be ready soon..
Rebecca : I have it all worked out I just need to get these printed and then I can have them delivered by one of the crew.. They probably know where to find these guys and girls better then I could anyway..
Drew nodded and headed out the door he turned in the doorway..
Drew : It is good to see you again..
Rebecca : It is good to be seen.. Now go.. get.. Shower.. Because no offense darling.. You reek!
Rebecca waved at him before focussing back on her laptop..

Chuckling, he exited through the door and headed towards the showers because it was true, he reeked and something severe.
Fifteen minutes later...
After getting dressed, he was rocking a pair of blue jeans that fit snug but not overly tight and his upper body was covered in a plain old white t-shirt and an unbuttoned baby blue suit jacket. Reaching into his gym bag, he pulls out his Old Spice cologne and puts some on his hands rubbing it onto his neck before closing the cologne and tossing it into his gym bag. Walking back into Danny’s office, he watched Rebecca work for a brief moment – he always found her to be incredibly beautiful.
Drew, “You ready to go Ms. Curci?”
Smiling, he looks directly into her eyes.

Rebecca looked up and smiled.. She made sure he noticed it when she checked him out..
Rebecca : Much.. Much better..
She got up from behind the desk revealing what she was wearing was a pair of skin tight blue jeans with a white men's dress shirt with the top 3 buttons undone.. She grabbed her black leather jacket and purse before making her way around the desk with those dangerous black 4 inch high heels..
Rebecca : So where did you want to go for that bite to eat ?
Drew : You'll see..
Rebecca : Nothing fancy okay.. I am so not dressed for fancy.. And it is not our thing anyway..
Drew wrapped his arm around her shoulder as they headed out the door..
Drew : Trust me..
Rebecca looked him deep in the eyes.. Her nearly black eyes trying to find some hint of what he was up to..
Rebecca : You got to earn that trust Mr. Stevenson...

Drew, “Oh I do huh?”
Rebecca, “Yes, you do!”
Drew nods, “Okay, fair enough!”
Walking out to the parking lot, they walked up to Drew’s Emerald green Hummer. Pressing a button on his keychain, the Hummer chirps as he jogs over to the passenger side and opens the door for the lovely Rebecca. As she hops in, he smiles.
Rebecca, “Thank you Mr. Stevenson!”
Drew, “You are welcome Ms. Curci!”
Shutting the door behind her, he then walks over and hops into the driver side door shutting it. Placing the keys into the ignition, he starts the Hummer up and backs out driving off.
Drew, “Now that we are officially off the clock, how have you been Rebecca?”

Rebecca chuckled and looked at Drew..
Rebecca : I wasn't on a clock Drew.. You were but I am not hired.. Yet.. But I was doing great.. Spend my days lounging in the Florida sun.. My garden at my Tampa home has never been more alive with flowers and I spend my days just enjoying life..
Drew : Then why come here... I mean this is no Tampa mansion..
Rebecca : I got the Tampa mansion already.. With the maid and the muscle still living there with me..
Drew : The muscle..
Rebecca : My brother.. Renegade.. Or Rene..
Drew : Damn I haven't seen him in forever..
Rebecca : Yeah we lived the quiet life.. Works for us.. Anyway.. Danny called me because he knows all to well that I know every bit of this business and asked me to help out in the office..
Drew : So Danny just called and you come flying out from Tampa to this place..
Rebecca : Yup.. I had my reasons to say yes after seeing the website and knowing what this place offers the new guys and most especially what you guys give to the girls.. I noticed that they were not put in dark matches or placed as card-fillers.. You know.. Not making their matches the bathroom breaks..
Drew : No and it paid off.. The girls are really putting on one hell of a show every time..
Rebecca : You showed them respect.. And they will work their asses off to make sure that they keep getting it.. That's how it works..
Drew : And privately..
Rebecca : Happy.. Single.. Loving life.. And what about you Drew? What have you been up to..

Sitting there and paying attention to the road, to his driving, he then speaks out to answer her question.
Drew, “Well, on the business side of things I have been extremely busy. As you know, I have recently taken on the roll of co-head of talent relations for Missouri State Wrestling. Other than that, I have been competing here and there but I’ll admit Rebecca; my body is trashed. I haven’t told anybody this but – I’m looking to retire in April, I need to save my body while I can still walk because I’m pretty sure that no beautiful woman will want to take care of an old, beat up man.”
Chuckling, he continues.
Drew, “Privately, well, I got out of a divorce about a ten months ago and been working as well as being a father. That’s part of the reason why I decided to wind down my wrestling career because I love being around my children and the job that my uncle offered me was just perfect. I know, probably not what you wanted to hear, huh?”

 Rebecca smirked before turning towards Drew..Rebecca : Actually.. I am not surprised.. Seriously.. After all the shit I have been through do you really believe I would be surprised by any of it.. After all those years my body was on the brink of collapsing and that is exactly why I decided to call it quits.. Sure I got a few good matches still in me but let's just keep it at that I would rather keep those saved up for if I ever needed them.. And I think it is a smart choice that you have made for yourself.. You should just take the time off.. Enjoy life.. Enjoy your time with your kids and just begin to enjoy it all again.. She sighed and leaned over to Drew..
Rebecca : Divorce.. That really doesn't fase me.. Remember I have been there and done that to.. I know many would probably think that you were damaged goods but I know you better then most darling.. You are more then over what ever the hell happened between you and your ex and if you weren't ready to move on and get on with your life then I wouldn't be sitting here in this car..Drew : You are right..
Rebecca : Usually am.. It annoyed the hell out of my ex and that is one of the reasons why he is now my ex.. Pretty much disappeared from our world into some kind of life in hiding.. I haven't seen or heard from him in forever now.. And I kind of like it that way.. So nothing you have said or implied was anything I didn't need or want to hear.. Drew.. I knew most of it already.. You have this look about yourself now a days.. I recognized from my own face when I looked into the mirror just before I decided to end my career.. And unless you find yourself recovered and feeling that desire burn inside of you then you will be like me.. Happily retired from the ring and still ready to kick anyone's ass when they step out of line..Rebecca placed her hand on his thigh and softly squeezed it as he kept on driving..

Smiling, he paused momentarily as he honestly liked where her hand was positioned.
Drew, “I’m at that stage in my career where I have that fire but my body doesn’t always agree. I’ll be the guy that most likely dies somewhere in the business...”
Chuckling, he reaches up lightly scratching his chin.
Drew, “... But in all seriousness, yeah, I’m past my ex and have been for a long time. I want to settle down but preferably with a woman who is genuinely interested and wants to be with me and the kids.”
Quickly looking at the beautiful Rebecca, he smiled softly at her.
Drew, “Now tell me Rebecca, is there any other reasons why you decided to come onboard?”

Rebecca smiled gently and softly rubbed her hand over his thigh..
Rebecca : You.. Although I waited in coming until I heard that Kim moved on from you.. She loved you from a far for a long time.. She didn't ever dare to dream that Matt would have forgiven her for that stunt she pulled on him.. Even if he did not know the truth of the situation... You always had a special place in her heart and I stayed away until she called me..
Drew : You would have waited for me..
Rebecca : Drew.. How long have we known each other..
Drew : For years..
Rebecca : I have been waiting for quite a few of them.. You see I don't do the homewrecker thing.. When you were with Kim you were genuinely happy.. So I was okay with it.. When I stepped away from the business I kept an eye on you and for a long time you were happy and so I was okay with it.. I heard of the divorce.. And still I waited.. You needed some time for just yourself and your kids.. And then I heard Kim was going to join MSW.. And so.. I decided to wait longer.. If it is meant to be.. It will be..
Drew : Never once did you show any signs..
Rebecca : When you are a pro in this business acting is part of the job.. Remember my character was a soulless bitch.. I can still hit that switch in my mind and turn off the emotions.. And just be what I want to be.. Keeping the world and everyone on it guessing what I have going on in my mind and in my heart..
She smiled towards Drew squeezing his thigh gently..
Rebecca : If I had decided to never tell you any of this.. You would have never known that I loved you from afar for years..

Pulling the Hummer over to the side of the road, he puts it into park and shifts his body towards Rebecca, his dark brown eyes meeting hers.
Drew, “You know Rebecca; it’s ironic because for so many years I thought about you. Hell, I still do so as you could see – I was taken back when I saw you, of course in a good way. I believe that certain people are just meant to be together, I believe that wholeheartedly Rebecca.”
Placing his hand on top of hers, he continues to look into her eyes.
Drew, “I admit that I still love you Rebecca, have for years and that has never changed!”
With their eyes locked, he inches closer and closer to her.

Rebecca looked into his eyes for a moment..
Rebecca : Are you going to kiss me now Drew.. I think I have waited long enough..
Drew : maybe.. maybe not.. Do you want me to..
Rebecca smiled gently before leaning in and kissing him softly.. nibbling on his bottom lip before placing a hand behind his head and pulling him in for a more passionate kiss.. Giving her answer..

With their lips pressed against one another, he gently places his hand on her waist. Pressing his lips firmly against hers, they break the passionate kiss after a moment and then kiss three more times with smaller kisses. Upon breaking the kiss, he sits there with red lipstick on his lips and a huge smile to boot.
Drew, “Wow... Still a great kisser I see!”
Seeing her smile, he is quick to continue speaking.
Drew, “What do you say Rebecca, shall we discuss more over that dinner?”

Rebecca smiled and nodded.. She gently wiped the lipstick off of him and smiled at him...
Rebecca : I think that is a good idea.. We have a bit of catching up to do... And I am sure we both have questions for each other that need to be answered..
Drew : Yes I think we both want to know more..
Rebecca : I know I do..
Rebecca turned in her seat and touched up her make-up before throwing Drew a wink..
