They had arrived at a cosy Italian restaurant and Drew was the perfect gentleman opening the car door for Rebecca to climb out of the hummer.. He helped her down and placed his hand on her lower back leading her inside the restaurant.. They were quickly brought to a quiet table for two and they sat down..
Waiter : Can I get you anything to drink..
Rebecca : Just water for now..
Drew : I will have water as well..
Rebecca watched as the waiter left.. She looked at Drew and smiled..
Rebecca : Okay Drew I can tell that there is something you have something on your mind.. What is it?

Drew, “I see you can still read me like a book!”
Smiling, Rebecca nods her head.
Drew, “Well, it’s just nothing but good things on my mind Rebecca. You know I wanted to call you so many times to see how you felt but I honestly thought that you had moved on. But then when my uncle brought you in, it was like everything had just clicked – I know that it doesn’t make much sense but, yeah, I think you get what I’m trying to say.”
Lowering his head while smiling, he then looks back up at her smiling.
Drew, “But what about you Rebecca; what’s on your mind?”
Taking a sip of his water, he listens to her talk.

Rebecca nodded slowly..
Rebecca : Quite a few things have happened in my past that made me a bit careful.. Things that were not as known about me.. And I want to be honest with you from the start.. That car crash that knocked my memory for a loop which I am sure you remember..
Drew : Yeah you did not remember much of anything for quite some time..
Rebecca : Yeah.. Not the best time of my life.. But that same car crash killed my daughter still inside of me.. And I know you love children.. I love them to.. But I don't think I would be able to give you one of our own because of that crash.. So before we take this further.. Can you handle that..
Drew looked at her with sympathy in his eyes.. She recognized it all to well..
Drew : Rebecca... I have 3 kids.. I love them dearly... And if you can and want to love them... I am more then okay with it..
Rebecca smiled sadly..
Rebecca : I needed to know.. And you needed to know this from the start... Before we went on and it could have caused some serious issues between us... It has been the cause of problems before..
