The setting is that of a worn down looking arena. Part of the building seems to have been previously burned and the seats on either side are worn down and partially destroyed. In the middle of all this is an almost new looking wrestling ring, in sudden contrast with its surroundings. Inside the ring is Robert Garland, four carved out pieces of wood in the corner and Travis Rech standing around ringside with a nice looking suit and a set up camera pressed to record.
Garland is shown wearing his everyday wrestling attire as he props up one of the pieces of wood in the middle of the ring. From the camera's angle, the onlooker can see a cut-out in the shape of a human being with a crudely drawn face on it that resembles Daniel Smart. Rech goes to speak into the camera as Garland lifts the hunk of wood and sends it right back down with a vicious looking powerslam!
Travis Rech - Ladies an' gentlemen, Ah'd like to address ya one an' all. Ta tha sheep, ta tha naysayers an' ta tha so called fans of tha MSW, Ah'd like ta present Robert "Badger" Garland!
Garland is shown in full, powerslamming the hunk of wood again. Seemingly not satisfied with his performance, he lifts it once more and again slams it to the mat. Almost as if completely caught up in his practice, Garland pays no attention to Rech at ringside who continues to speak.
Travis Rech - This is tha man whose ambition will finally be realized, an' that realization is right around tha corner! Afta months of preaching an' blood bein' caused ta boil, tha illustrious MSW has decided ta give in an' give us what we came ta this promotion fer! That's right, ladies an' gentlemen, it's almost time fer tha saga of Washington an' Garland ta be brought ta ah violent an' decisive close.
Garland continues his work-out, now switching boards as he throws "Smart" over to the outside. Lifting another board, and anchoring it in the middle, Rech moves out of the way of the camera to show this one, which supposedly represents Tommy Angel. Garland makes sure the board is completely propped up and starts throwing lefts and rights, his knuckles starting to bust open a bit as some of his blood is left on "Angel's" face.
Travis Rech - But before we can make it there, mah client has decided ta show ya all why he's so confident in his ability ta destroy yer hometown hero. While management took it upon themselves ta book both Washington and Garland this week, Garland has decided ta one up his future opponent an' requested ah two on one handicap match. Ladies an' Gentlemen, yer savior of tha lies, yer hero labeled ah monster, is doing all he can ta reveal ta ya tha truth!
He is here fer ya! He is here ta show ya tha levels of deceit that these so-called fan favorites hide from each an' every one of ya! Mah client is here... Ta make sure Frank Washington's reign of terror comes ta an' end.
Garland's fists seem a bit torn up, a ferocious left hook slamming into "Angel's" face. "Angel's" propped up position fails to keep him stable as the piece of wood falls to the ground. Garland tosses this one over by "Smart" as he readies a cut-out that shares the likeness of The Loose Cannon. Garland give his fists a rest and lets fly a few kicks, almost as if he's still warming up. When satisfied, Garland hits a few back elbows on "Cannon" before switching back to his kicks. Rech nods in approval as Garland continues, sweat dripping down Garland's face as he yells out with each strike.
Travis Rech - Ya see MSW, tha man behind me is not tha man who lost ta Daniel Smart. This man is ah man who has something ta prove ta himself an' ta tha onlookers of tha massacre that will be Garland vs. Washington at Best of Tha Best. This man is tha man who will face both Tommy Angel an' Loose Cannon an' display ta ya pure an' unrated aggression! This man is tha man who will end tha falsities an' revel in victory when he takes Washington's career, sets it up, an'... Well, why don't ya show them Garland?
As if on queue, Garland tosses "Cannon" aside, moving over the to the last carving of wood that resembles Frank Washington. Garland sets it up, much like he did the previous carvings, and runs the ropes. He finally locks on, hitting the carving with a thunderous Lariat! The top part of the carving flies off as the rest of it falls, Garland's left arm bleeing a bit, much like his knuckles.
Garland intensely stares into the camera when this is done, Rech starting to clap at his client's display. After turning back towards the camera, Rech smiles arrogantly, Garland kicking what's left of "Washington" out of the ring and stepping over the ropes. He heads over to rusty looking weight benches and begins a few reps while Rech turns the camera off and continues to coach the savior of the masses...
