The talent share with sister promotion LEGACY Wrestling continues to flourish as we saw the big Bobby Langford showing up to stand up for Deacon Cash against the duo of TJ Bryce and Roman Gold announcing that the after talking with Drew Stevenson it was made official that he'd be lacing up his boots for the MSW crowd by being Deacon Cash's new tag team partner for Back to Basics at the end of the month. Bobby Langford is brother to former MSW Star David Langford who had torn his ACL, filling other independent commitments before coming to MSW, unable to make his official debut. He's also another Emerald Academy student which makes this to no surprise that he'd be at MSW; as it's the official training facility for MSW, as well as future athletes of the business. Bobby Langford joins the likes of Noah Adelaide, Steven Marion, David Langford, Scotty Addams, Kevin Sane, and Matt Ward all just to name a few that have come from the academy.
But Bobby is not all! In a surprising turn of events, another athlete that has also spent time here in Kansas City under the KCW/ROW banner by the name of Duke Andrews-- one half of the longest reinging ICWA Tag Team Champions and one of the longest reigning TV Champions in ICWA history who made his LEGACY debut at the Independence Day event on Saturday evening is reportedly in talks with old rival and friend, Drew Stevenson, about working some dates for MSW as well. If the deal becomes final and more LEGACY talent shows up in MSW (as well as MSW talent in LEGACY) things are going to be getting very interesting following Back to Basics. Stay tuned for more updates!
