Your Character

1. Who does he sound like? - Me doing an impression of Cyrus from the Traiker Park Boys doing an impression of The Grand Wizard of Professional Wrestling doing an impression of the Insane Clown Posse.
2. What sort of background does your character come from? - A Western Canadian one?
3.Why did you decide to create your character? - My friends and I were doing apartment wrestling back in '99. I took the name from the name of a character I drew that was done in the style of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. I never even read the comics! Anyway, all I remember is that he was leaping up in the air holding two stereotypical-looking bombs, the round ones with the lit fuses, one in each hand. And that character was named Johnny B.. And yes, that still makes no sense.
4.When did you first start using your character? - 1999 in H3CW (Helder's House of Hardcore Championship Wrestling), i.e.: my apartment with a bunch of old mattesses and friends.

1. When I first created the character he was supposed to sound like Brad Pitt and look like DJ Ashba.  That never really happened. I always heard Nikki Sixx's voice behind Venom.

2. Tangent time! Nikki has a completely different identity when it comes to on and off-camera. Off-camera he was born into a relatively poor family in the slums of Detroit. He grew up with the wrong crowd and was a disrespectful lil' punk. It all changed with the help of a community outreach program that taught him to deal with the frustrations he felt in a different way. He began wrestling when he was 18 years old with some friend he gained from the program. They ran an unsuccessful backyard wrestling promotion. This is where Nikki Venom was born. Being a stupid 18 year old, and wanting to sound badass he came to the ring as VENOM. His music throughout his whole career -save for a two week stint- was Kickstart My Heart. Originally, his look was heavily based off Nikki Sixx. With Venom's real name being Nicholas people attached Nikki to his name, and he's kept his name every since. After his debut with SEF, Showstoppa's Extreme Federation, he got into heroin in a big way. It was a promotion full of drug users, and there was really only two or three out of a forty person roster that lived cleanly. Ever since his life has been in shambles as he has tried recovering from it, but always ultimately failed. When this happened many companies kicked him for violation of wellness policies.

On-camera, Nikki has been a man dealing with manic depression. His drug use never makes it on camera as Nikki does not want to ever publicize it. He never wanted young fans to look at him, see he does heroin and think that it's cool. Therefore, his drug use stays strictly off-camera and out of the public eye. This time around he is more anti-establishment than he is unstable. He wants to tear down the walls and make everyone live in his impoverished hell. His reason for this attitude -and for his depression gimmick in the past- is his childhood. The story is that his father was heavily abusive toward women. He would try to beat -and not like a bitch slap, like a flurry of punches and kicks to the face- Nikki's mother and his slightly older sister. He would hide his sister and take the beatings for her. His father would beat the shit out of him, then black out. When he'd black out Nikki would find his sister and she'd try to fix him up. He then got into wrestling because it is a shady fucking business, and fuck everyone.

Back to off-camera, Nikki doesn't have a sister, and he was never abused. He was an only child, and his parents were usually too busy to give him love. They weren't abusive though. There is a woman, slightly older than Nikki, that he considers his sister. They are really super close, but she will never make an appearance in a role play unless you all really care that much to see it.

3. Do you know Jamie Static? That's my brother. Before Jamie switched to Static he was Venom. I won't lie, 14 year old me totally ripped off my brother. I just have always stuck to him for some weird reason.

4. 2009 on October 29th.

5. Johnny Camaro is my personal favourite and my most decorated. Alex Healy, Alex Arren, Derrick Rycroft, TJ City, some character that used Tyler Tirva as a face.
