Brothers- together that's what Scotty and Drew are. Despite all the goings on, and Frank's vendetta with Drew starting to spill over to Scotty due to his attempting to pay Matt Ward off to sabotage Drew and this match. Of course Matt wants to take the money, who in their right mind wouldn't want to take a payday? But it was definitely becoming more difficult to stay neutral when Scotty was there in the middle of it all. So he had to get his thoughts together, he had to get his focus directed somewhere that the battle between Drew and Frank wouldn't cross him and they could duke it out like grown men. The Junior Heavyweight Division- that new championship that needs crowned to begin a new division, a new wave of momentum not just in MSW, but in the entire wrestling industry. If there was one thing that Scotty was known for it was making history. If he could capture that championship it would be another history making moment. Of course the path wouldn't be easy... it was never easy. Not when you had some of the best talent in the world like Luke Jackson, Jay B, The 'Burb Boys, Duke Andrews (if the rumors of him dropping a few pounds to contender were legit), Shawna Martinez, the possibility of Olga or Artemis Kaiser- three of the toughest women in the entire industry that pound for pound can go up against almost anybody.
So when this match was done, Scotty would be going down that road. With all the competition Scotty needed a head start and a win in this tag team match could do just that. Scotty wasn't dumb, there was a good chance Frank would be around somewhere considering his day-to-day operations, so Scotty and Drew would both have to be watching their backs for Drew's sake. The Alley Cats may have come together out of a joke, but they would make it their mission to be taken seriously and Ward was planning to do just that but Scotty didn't plan to lose in his debut and Drew was in a stage of his career that he couldn't take a loss right now, either or it'd give all the power to Frank Washington, especially after that cage war that Drew had with Wolf. It was time for the two guys that knew each other better than anyone to take down Chris Orton and Matt Ward.
"Matt Ward... how the hell are ya, buddy?!"
The voice was that of Scotty and the camera came to life. Drew and Scotty on camera together, physically preparing for their match against the Alley Cats and their first real match as a team in quite a long time. And knowing now that Ward is gunning for Drew for that money, and we all knew that when Matt wanted to, he could be a hell of a monster inside of the ring. And Chris Orton? Well who knows about Chris Orton but Ward was clearly the threat here. Drew was seen doing some pull-ups when we first opened up but he's stepped down with a towel around his neck and made his way over to where Scotty was with the camera.
[Scotty]: First things first: Unstoppable. Drew and I team up together in a match that is very real and could pose to be a very tough threat, with talent that actually wants to succeed. A match that is our first real match together in a while. In many ways, what the three of you have done is commendable because you came together much like the Jokers came together those years ago. But lets make one thing clear here, Matt. You mention Boardwalk? Nobody cares about that biased hunk of junk. And considering the hell I went through at Unstoppable 16 against Tommy Montana? I'd say that speaks loud enough for itself. And second of all, the Jokers are dead, Matt. They're dead and gone. Be it Drew's fault, Frank's fault, hell probably even my own fault for some decisions I made in the past that could have been better, it doesn't matter. The most dominant trio in all of professional wrestling is disbanded and probably for good this time. But you Matt- you're making a decision that I don't think you want to make. The odds are stacked, and now that you've got that extra motivation? We know you're going to be coming out like a damn monster but the thing about monsters Matt... is that they're imaginary. It's a façade- a mask that you put on when you want something.
Scotty looked to Drew who had a protein shake in his hand and was bringing his heart rate down.
[Scotty]: But I know what you can be capable of, Matt, both of us do. We've seen it in front of our very own eyes the kinds of things you can do to people when you're motivated enough. So you've got our attention, Matt, and we're listening. But you had better get your anger issues with your partner under control because just like how two years ago we beat you? Two years later we're gonna do it again. And if we face in two more weeks? We're gonna do it again, and again. We're gonna do it over and over, Matt, because when we're in the ring it's what we have to do. We have to win. You, LeBroc and Chris all formed for a reason but if you want to stand a sliver of a chance against us you had better figure out if that reason is good enough to keep you together and to stand a chance at pulling out the win. Drew and I? We know that individually, we've seen our dreams come true, we've been at the top of the mountain and we worked every single day to get there and to get better. And together? With all the years we've worked together, trained together, bled - together, we know each other. We know each other inside and out, forwards and backwards, we know what we can do, we know what we will do before one of us even does it. It's because we're brothers, Matt and winning is what we do. But what about you, Matt?
Scotty paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts as he and Drew were in this, what appeared to be older gym, one that hasn't been touched in ages and still could use a little sprucing up. It was Drew's "new" gym, the one that ran in the family.
[Scotty]: It's also about getting down the right path. Drew has been fighting since he gave up his role in the office to step into the ring here in MSW.. fighting to fix his name, to show that he's a changed man and he's down the straight and narrow. I believe him, Matt.
Scotty pats Drew on the shoulder and Drew with a nod for acknowledgement. He didn't need to thank Scotty, because Scotty already knew he was grateful.
[Scotty]: And that's why I'm standing by his side, gladly, for this tag team match. But you, Matt, you let a little greed get in your way? I had a respect for you, Matt, and if you decide that the money isn't worth losing the bond you two have made over the years? Then that's the smart choice. You take the money and go for Drew's legs to try and take out his career? Then you not only have problems with him, you've got them with me, as well. I came back to MSW to help Drew at WAR because I knew, a gut feeling, that he was going to need help. I signed on the dotted line to be here full time because I love this company, I love what it represents, what it stands for, and I always have. But understand this, Matt, if you go down that dark path, you take that money, you're not just going for Drew, you're going for me too because you're trying to sabotage me, and my solo in-ring debut here in MSW. You're trying to sabotage my family; I can't let that happen.
Scotty wagged his finger with a smirk.
[Scotty]: Like Drew said, the choice is yours, Matt, and no matter what you bring at Unstoppable... you bring that "Monster" Matt that we saw in LEGACY or you bring just plain ol' regular Matt, watch my lips and listen well. NOTHING you can or will do will keep me down. NOTHING you can or will do, will keep Drew down. I'm expecting you to bring your worst, and I'm prepared for it. I-- We-- won't lose this match. Like they say.. history always repeats itself; So check your boy Orton and make sure he's up to the task 'cause boys, we're comin' to win.
Scotty hit Drew on the chest and pointed to the ring, and the scene fades out.
