Just earlier this afternoon, in one of Danny Stevenson's final decisions before he makes his official retirement and hands over the reigns of Missouri State Wrestling, a small company called Dynamo Pro Wrestling in St. Louis, Missouri had reached out to Danny Stevenson to see about letting Chris defend his PURE15 Trophy under the PURE15 rules of course. Danny said he was perfectly fine with that, in fact he loved it but he wanted to have a hand in picking the opponent. This is when, reportedly, Artemis Kaiser, the current Women's champion of MSW had gone to Danny and demanding the shot against Chris Williams due to there not being enough competition to defend her championship. Danny had the following to say:
Danny: Lemme tell yah what. When it came tah tha Pure 15 Championship bein' defended, ah loved tha idea, brother. I loved tha idea of MS Dubya bein' represented with it's legacy an they loved me wantin' ta pick tha perfect opponent an I had ta think on it, brother. THere's so many amazin' talents, it coulda been anybody, but one person stuck out to me tha most. Miss Artemis Kaiser, the reigning Women's champ. An I tell ya what! Miss Kaiser came up ta me in her way that she does, and she DEMANDED this shot! She told me she didn't have competition, she couldn't defend her championship so she wanted a real challenge, ya feel me? I was reluctant at first, but I said ya know what? Little lady ya got ya match! An if ya win it? Well I guess we're gonna get a new way ah doin' things. I told Miss Kaiser if she wins this match, we'll put that women's title on hold for a little while, and let tha women an the men go at it like they do all over the world in otha places. So if Miss Kaiser can pick up that victory over Mistah Chris Williams? She's gonna set tha standard for the future, baby. So I gave miss Kaiser tha match and she fired that gunshot heard 'round tha world an now we got ourselves a new Pure champ, an a new standard baby. I tell ya what, that Kaiser girl can kill it an she's got mah respect!
It's an interesting way of things to come folks, but Artemis Kaiser, the reigning Women's Champion, Tag Team Champion as part of the Kaiser Dynasty, and now PURE15 Champion! What a history maker.
