Despite not working for MSW, Othniel was part of MSW’s sister promotion; LEGACY Wrestling where he gained popularity for his smooth criminal persona. The height of Othniel’s career came in Professional Wrestling Today as a member of Natural Selection with Jacob Mitchell as they battled the likes of current MSW Stars Drew Stevenson, Duke Andrews and Scotty Addams.
Jacob Mitchell, Othniel’s trainer and mentor was not available for comment but tweeted the tragic news earlier per request of his family.
On behalf of Missouri State Wrestling’s staff, roster and fans, we send our condolences and thoughts to his family. The professional wrestling world has lost another talented star at a way too early age.
