"Come on, boys, what's it gonna be?"
The voice of Scotty rang out, strong, proud, as we see him sporting his 'Winged A' shirt with the S of his name taking the place of hole typically in the center of the 'A' and these wings attached to the side of the A. Around the A is a circle, black with red outline with some grey splashes inside on top of the black background and his name curved at the top following the path of the circle and cut off at the bottom to create a nice little effect. He wore a pair of camo styled shorts with his slick pure black Nike's. He had on his trademark baseball cap that was backwards. Scotty was just taking a nice stroll through the neighborhood with another nice day. The rain had stopped, the sun was going down so the evening sky set in and what a beautiful sky it was.
[Scotty]: It seems like the past couple of days y'all have been kinda quiet so where ya at? I didn’t scare ya off, did I? I mean it took Jay B long enough to speak up. Or is it that you weren’t quite expecting me to step up and bring it right away? Because that’s the impression that I got from Jay B when he’s there questioning what happened two weeks ago to the Alley Cats. That’s the impression that I got from LeBroc Harris, as well. I respect the guys, I know they got talent but I’m telling you this right now, boys: you expect to beat me? You better step your game right the hell up because I’m not coming to play footsies with the two of you; I’m coming to win and I hope to God that the two of you plan to do the same. I mean come on, Jay B you talk about how did I lose to the Alley Cats? How did you lose the Hardcore Championship to the Skylarks? Go on, I’ll wait for an answer.
Scotty stopped for a moment and looked at the watch on his wrist before looking up
[Scotty]: It happened because losses in this business happen. All it takes is three seconds and you’re beat. It’s happened to Drew, it’s happened to Cocheese, it’s happened to Washington, me, you, hell I’m sure it’s even happened to Bryce fuckin’ Manning. So don’t bring up losses to me. A loss doesn’t mean anything unless you never gave it your all. What matters is how you rebound, how you get back up. Harris is back up and he’s still telling people he’s the most secure wrestler and here I am back up on my own two feet after gettin’ clocked with a chair coming back, stronger than before ready to take the win in this match-up and keep on moving forward because I’ve got a goal that I’ve set myself too and when I’m on that grind, there’s nothing that’s going to stop me. Because having fun in the ring is great, Jay, but just having fun is going to cost you in the end. It takes your focus away from your opponents, you underestimate your opponents and then when ya least expect it, BAM you’re done for.
Scotty was walking forward and the camera backwards like this was a one-take video. Scotty comes up to a small ledge and with a bit of a pace increase and a hop he jumps up to it and continues walking through the beautifully green grass.
[Scotty]: I’m all for having fun but in the ring is when it’s time to get down to business. If you wanna spend your time in the ring hung over because you’d rather party than win, then that’s one you. The people love you, Jay, they do, but it was an upset against Olga because you were in a bit of a rut. You were being hard on yourself, you were putting yourself down, lowering your own potential and then getting pissed off that you had to face a woman, regardless of how damn big that gal is. You spent your time worrying about the little things so when you pulled off that win, Jay, when you defeated the woman that DISMANTLED Duke Andrews because he took her lightly, it was an upset. So don’t stand there and try and twist my words because maybe you had a little too much to drink last night and that’s why it took ya so long to speak up. Or maybe you were trying to find the right words- but it doesn’t matter. We’re forty eight hours away from Unstoppable when you, LeBroc Harris and I all collide in that ring and there must be a winner and so I say this- you’re lookin’ at him.
Scotty’s pace slowed and he stopped. Looking around to enjoy the amazing weather that had been in his area for the past couple of days humid or not he looked intently at the camera, his eyes not deviating from the path that they had made.
[Scotty]: Respect is respect. We all have it, we all acknowledge it but now in forty eight hours it comes down to who’s gonna want it the most. Who knows where LeBroc has been, you just want to party but me? I’ve got my eyes set on the prize. I’ve got my eyes to be the standard bearer for this division but this is the division that I started in. This is my road to my homecoming where the best of the best talent is at each and every single week. That’s why I finally signed on that dotted line, that’s why I want to be here, that’s why I love working with the talent that’s here. Whether they’re new to working with me, or I’ve known ‘em for years. This is the beginning of a new beginning, Jay, and I hope you and LeBroc are ready for everything I’ve got because I never go less than 100% and I expect you both to do the same. You can have your secure parties another time ‘cause Unstoppable is my night. Don’t believe it? Just wait. See y’all soon.
Scotty turns his cap around, grabs the tip of the bridge and nods with it and walks off camera view for the scene to end.
