So Salman Van Dam suffered his first loss, however there is one thing he does have on his mind and that is Bryce Manning. The man who is now taking on Drew Stevenson on the very next card. What should the hardcore Icon do ? SVD walked out of the shower with the towel wrapped around his legs. Water was dripping from his entire body. He hear the sound of a text message appearing on his cell phone, before he could pick his shirt up .. he picked his phone. He looked at the screen and it stated that he received text from his boss Danny Stevenson.
" Hey man how you doing ? I am just checking on my fellow superstar. I know you have a lot going on in your mind. I can't blame you. I am wondering if we could talk, could we meet at the arena before the show ".
SVD took a deep breath and time to reply back -- which he did and this what he said on his text ," It's great to hear from you. Happy to know MSW management cares about their talent and did you ask me to be at the show. Do you have something to say to me ? Well I know you have a lot of stuffs planned for me and all but I am taking my next flight to Paducah and then drive all the way back to Murray.. Kentucky. It's nothing personal, I just want to have some time for myself and spend much time drinking my favorite beer. If that is okay with you "
Text was sent and then few minutes later he received a quick reply from the boss, one should wonder, could this really be the boss texting him or someone else is using Danny's cell phone as a ploy to trick SVD in. It could be a possibility.. or it could be the boss himself. We can't rule anything out yet.
" Oh SALLY boy what's wrong chap ? You hurting or something. We all know Bryce did a huge number on you with that steel chair "
The moment Sal read that text, he felt like he got himself buried by the boss man. To be quite honest SVD is one of those guys that isn't hurt from getting a chair shot to the head so why would a chair shot to his back would bother him much. Sal rolled his eyes and then replies, " I am Hardcore Icon..I don't worry about getting chair shot.. I worry about my health. I have taken so much risk in my career. I been put into two different concussion scenarios. I can NOT always be a Hardcore superstar who put his body on the line each and every week, knowing that these hardcore matches would end my career. I want Bryce Manning in a NO DISQUALIFICATION but I also need a sabbatical at this point. I am one of the best wrestler on the roster, the very best. I am not letting people taking advantage of my little injury and that is why I need time to heal ? I do not want to end up like Edge. The only time I will hang up my boot is when I feel ready ? but right now I feel deadbeat so I want to take some time off.. THANKS bye, will see you and MSW after a small brief break "

He wears it , along with his nike air revolution shoes. He then grabs his comb and combs his hair and then few minutes later he grabs his stuff and checks out of the hotel room he was staying.
