”Give me a sign, sing the words of innocence and broken pride
Make my conclusions fade
Sell me a sign, heal this broken melody
Cause each night I die in hell
My god asks for your sympathy for all the spirits lost
I’ll pray for salvation and peace for ages
Standing in the summer breeze and hating life again
A new day has come
A chance to renew
Forget and forgive…”

#Silverthorn – My Confession
Things had been rather quiet for the past couple of weeks for one Autumn Raven. She had not made any sort of appearance on the MSW stage since that scrap of a fight, leading those to wonder where she had gone and what in the world she had been doing with her time away from the squared circle that she considered a second home, somewhere where she felt comfortable doing exactly what she loved. To be quite honest, she had returned back home and spent her time catching up with family and friends, doing things that calmed her spirit and brought her a sense of focus. She wondered why more of the stars nowadays didn’t do the same thing. It would bring them such a clarity of mind that they could use out there.
She hadn’t sat at home and did nothing, mind you. She was out and about, down at the local gym working out, keeping up her strength and making sure she was in her top physical condition for when she eventually made her return to that ring so far away. Anyone who would dare to call her lazy or air-headed about this whole situation would find a sizable boot shoved where the sun didn’t shine. She knew what she was doing, she just wanted her return to look as good as possible. The word had come down from the higher ups days ago that she had been booked once again, this time in a triple threat match against two other talents in the women’s division. An old timer and a fluffball, according to her. She had closed out the email, and leaned back in the chair at her desk then, tapping a finger on her chin as she contemplated this whole situation carefully. Beating those two would put her in the good standards for a possible future title shot somewhere down the line. And there was nothing more that she wanted than a chance to wear gold again.
”Guess what my dears, I’m back. Yeah I’m still around for those who might have forgotten me already. The last time any of you fops saw me on TV was a couple of weeks ago in my first appearance on MSW’s latest program. I was excited to make my grand debut on such a worthy stage for someone with such talents such as myself. To be booked into a match like I was was huge if you think about it with some rather interesting, yet half-hearted talented women of the roster. Had some big implications you know. Now, if you hadn’t been paying attention at all, I didn’t win that one. Sad to say. I wish I had honestly. I felt I did better than any of those lousy bitches that stepped into the ring. But who am I to argue with the turn out?
So I took off after that program and went back home. Not with my tail tucked between my legs, so don’t get ahead of yourself here. I wasn’t booked on the following show so I went back to gather myself, train, and make myself stronger, faster. That whole spiel. It’s always nice to go back home, to where you came from. It gives you a better outlook on yourself and reminds you of what’s important. People should do it more often. They’d be a lot better on the outside, you know.
That’s the story of where I’ve been. I didn’t get sent home because I was bad, or because I didn’t win. I just wasn’t on the card, that’s all. If I’d had it my way, I would of pushed my way onto the card and made my stamp one way or another. When you take a superkick to the jaw, people tend to remember who you are. Just ask my previous opponents, they’ll tell you.”
Autumn runs a hand through her hair, positioning the camera to look out the window of the bus she was traveling on at the moment, giving her attentive audience a look at where she was and what was going on outside at the moment before turning it back to her face again with a wicked smile that spoke volumes.
”Am I mad because I didn’t get to have my spot for a title shot due to that match? Yeah, of course. I made some mistakes and now some half-wits are in the spot that I should be in. I have more talent in my hands then they do in the strands of bleached hair on their heads. But I’m stepping into the past again. Let’s look ahead to the future because that’s what matters.
Anyway…
Imagine my surprise when I get an email from ol’ Danny boy saying that I’ve been booked on this week’s show in a triple threat match. If you could only have seen the smile on my face, you would have run off scared. Another chance to showcase my skills in the ring and take out a couple of people along the way. So when I read who it was I was facing, I was curious to say the least. A veteran and a fluffball with a bad case of ADD. They’re throwing the lot of us together in the middle of that ring in another show of power and skill of the women’s division. Let’s face it, this is going to be one hell of a match or one hell of a trainwreck, who knows but I know one thing, I’m going in there with one thing in mind; victory.
I’m not some stupid little woman mind you. I can count on my fingers and then some the number of people who have thought so less of me in the past and then got in the ring, and immediately regretted it.
And yes, this time I’m showing up early to the party. I had fun showing up fashionably late, because as I said I found it funny to watch those silly bitches scwabble and fight like clucking chickens. It was hysterical to watch.
Yeah I’m here, Kim. Do you see me now bitch, do you?
Autumn waves her free hand at the camera, giving it a sarcastic look.
I’m early, and I hope that pleases you that someone of my caliber showed up on time according to you. Frankly I don’t like that you’re trying to order me around and force me to show up when you want. Who the hell are you to demand anything out of me? Have you gone stupid? You’re just asking for a beating if you keep that up. I’m not some god damn child you can order around and make a slave. And I don’t care much about your status as a veteran either. I don’t care how many years you’ve got under your belt or where you’ve been. All I care about is seeing you in that ring and wiping that pretty smirk off your face. I want to introduce you properly to me…officially. I hope you are really ready for this and can bring the pain as your name says, otherwise you are going to be looking like a fool when I kick you in the face and rearrange everything on it.
I don’t make empty threats, only hard core promises. So don’t take what I say lightly or laugh about it because it’s gonna cost you. What will people say about the mighty Kim Pain when someone like me beats her? I think I’d like to see that.
And then there’s Marie..or the Marie experience as she’s running around and calling herself. Gave a ritcheous beating to Aquilla Vox didn’t you? Didn’t know a fluffball like yourself had it in you. Good job, bravo. You have my attention and a small amount of respect, only because you noticed my skills in the ring. But then you want to call me a party pooper and say my intimidation tactics are weak? Are you that hurt because you didn’t get a turn at the game last time? Aww so sorry lady, I didn’t think someone like you would want to play in the grown up games. You honestly remind me of a badly done valley girl that belongs on a beach instead of in a wrestling ring. I have to laugh at you sometimes.
I don’t quit at anything I do Marie, don’t ever assume that I do. I’ve never backed down from a challenge, or a fight, or anything. I take on anybody that wants a fight. You want me in that ring, then call me out and I’ll come fight you. I love it, the rush when I get in the ring, it’s exciting. It’s even more exciting to wreck the dreams of people who think they’ve got it more over you.
No offense ladies but I’m not gonna be all sugary and sweet like miss Marie over here, who thinks bouncing around and talking about this and that is gonna win points. That’s for the goody two shoes around here, the superheros. And as you’ve seen I’m far from anything sweet. I don’t play nice, and I don’t like playing nice with my toys. I tend to break them. I think I’m going to enjoy breaking you two in this because I’m just that damn good at what I do.
I’ll see you in the ring. Bring your ‘A’ game ladies or just don’t show up.”
Autumn blows a mocking kiss to the camera and shuts it off, as things fade to black.
