Rules
1.) No Real Wrestlers, created only.
2.) This should not even have to be said but it is going to be said, NO OOC DRAMA. There is ONE WARNING here, you will be deleted if you violate it a second time.
3.) The Rule Of One, meaning one face, one theme, one finisher, etc. Be sure to check the reserved face board, located on the "Contracts" board as well as the Roster for taken faces. There is an exception to this rule. The exception is if there are two distinctly different eras of somebody. The different era's may be used for separate characters. Example include, but are not limited to:
- Randy Orton - Pre-Tattoos (Debut-Evolution and slightly beyond) and Sleeved (Current)
- Kane - Masked and Unmasked
- CM Punk - Indie - WWE Debut (Blonde Hair - Long Black Hair), Masked, Current (2010-Now)
4.) The Rule Of Two, fail to not role-play for a match two times consecutively without having communication with management as far as reason will result in your character being "Released". You're welcome to rejoin later but this allows us to have an accurate count of who we are working with and who we need to be thinking of story-lines for.
5.) You will not be booked into matches until you have put up a debut rp, if you go a week from the time you put up your stats without putting up a debut rp or contacting us. Your face will become available and you will be at risk of having your account deleted from the site.
6.) You will not be put on the roster until you have roleplayed for your first match, this is to save time from putting people on the roster that are not going to bother of even showing.
7.) Attention to Realism is a factor, when role playing for matches or generally. Keep in mind that MSW is a independent promotion. They would not have the money for most of the stuff a mainstream juggernaut can do.
8) Roleplays: A few changes to the last run, but only minor. There IS going to be a word cap on the show roleplays to go with the shorter styled results that we are working with. The Word Cap is 1500 Words Per Roleplay. This also involves a 12 hour "cool down" period where you must wait 12 hours between roleplays, UNLESS your opponent puts out a RP. IF your opponent RPs during the duration of your 12 hour window, that window is waived and you may RP again. There will also be a 48 hour rule in place with NO ROLEPLAY LIMIT (we read everything). Meaning your first RP must be posted 48 hours prior to the deadline or else you will be automatically disqualified unless your opponent(s) all agree to waive the deadline for you. If this is the case, management must be informed. All show deadline information may be found on the card.
9) The promo: What we look for in MSW is the promo. You don't have to type 'novels' where your RP is 15 pages long. Focus on the context of your match and your story development. You can pack a bigger punch with a few paragraphs versus a few chapters. The promo focuses on the hype, not the burial. Any questions feel free to ask management and they will gladly explain it to you or you may view "Promo Vs Burial" under the "About Us" section of this site.
Guidelines
1.) Roleplays are judged by a panel and the rulings are in fact final. We very rarely will SL someone to lose, but it does happen. If you lose, it is not the end of the world and there is a plan in place. Its not us "burying" you or "screwing" you. There is a method to our madness and if you're active and contributing to MSW, your character will be awarded for it in the end.
2.) We currently do not allow intergender matches, as a rule of thumb. We on MSW management just believe it is way to unrealistic and we strive for that element of realism as much as possible. HOWEVER we are not totally against it in ALL cases, and this rule can be bent for special cases. You will not see a Maryse face going against a Ryback however. Acceptable faces to pitch this idea would include Natayla, Beth Phoenix, Awsome Kong, etc.
3) MSW runs bi-weekly because it makes it easier on all of our schedules, and allows us to put more focus into your angles. Supercards and/or PPVs have not been decided yet as to what we're going to do, but this will be updated as soon as that is made available. And while we are running bi-weekly, we will also not be doing FULL matches. We in MSW believe majority of the focus for furthering angles comes from specific spots in matches which will be highlighted, and segments periodically throughout the show. We still encourage you to RP to best of your ability -- but understand that just because you might lose doesn't mean it will hinder you in the long run. Be loyal to us, and you will be rewarded in time.
4) We do NOT affiliate unless we approach you.
5) Name dropping is a no-no. In MSW it's a fresh start, for the most part. There are a few things we may acknowledge, or other companies within our past that certain aspect of MSW may be linked too, but please ask one of the admin's before you take any action regarding that. That doesn't mean that you're past accomplishments really affect you in any way, if you have them or you don't, but everybody starts fresh. This way they can discuss and get back to you ASAP with an answer.
