Ah, the fellow before our hero this week is a one who has done this song and dance before.
A man who bears scars of the mental and physical variety.
A man who believes in himself just as much as our hero believes in himself.
Our hero has not given this man the attention he deserves.
He will now.
MSW Live Show - May 13th, 2014
Backstage - Catering Table
The lovely table of food. It is the lifeforce for many of MSW's wrestlers. When you work for so long, you do not have time to go out and grab food.
Luckily, MSW is fit enough to get some sub restaurant to cater to their show. Chips, different types of miniature sandwiches, cookies, and an assortment of drinks (that MSW promotes, due to advertising) are spread out for superstars to grab and chew on. Peyton is seated nearby, munching on a bag of Doritos. As the camera operator approaches, Peyton looked at him. He rid of the bag. He wiped off his mouth with a nearby napkin and stood up. He motioned for the operator to follow him.
Passing by Chris Alans, Peyton stopped the camera operator and smirked.
Peyton: "See that man right there? That is Chris Alans, also known as the Brick Wall. The last I saw him, he was rampaging in Mister Stevenson's office...after I beat him. He has been wrestling for well over twenty years. He is one of the most experienced members on our roster. And I pinned him in the ring. So, it is not as if I have not fought experienced people before. I commend your ability, Jaxin. You have been at this for nearly six years while I have only been at this for a few months. I hope you honestly did not believe that I disregarded your time wrestling? No, that would be rude."
Going back to his ways during the Best of the Best tournament, he pulled up a picture of Jaxin. He presented it and beamed.
Peyton: "You are down and dirty fighter. You carry a switchblade around, because you cannot trust the world. You have war scars. Your life has been one big tragedy, has it not? You are quite like me a long while ago. It's...funny to see, really. Your motivations for wrestling are even more outlandish. You have come to harm people? That's...vile, if I say so myself. And now, I can move on to what I am 'saving MSW from'. I am saving them from people like you. Let us be honest here. There are plenty of people like you running in here, trying to maim anyone they want. I am tired of it."
He pointed at the camera, shaking. His emotions were beginning to get the better of him.
Peyton: "You're starved for attention and you resort to such...nefarious tactics to get it?"
A pause.
Peyton: "I am sorry, but you are like Neforian, Dante, and Virgil. I am going to have to put you out before you get started. I must defeat you. I will not be defeated on my way to the MSW Championship by someone like you. You can kickstart your career off of Bryan York or Tyler Xero, but not me. Never me. I wish you luck because you will be facing a storm. You seem talented, but you have been corrupted by the malevolence of life itself. I am here in MSW to save people like you from yourselves. I am not just saving MSW from people like you; I am saving you from people like yourself, from people like Neforian."
Peyton: "You wanted my attention? If you wanted to win, you should not have tried so hard to get it. When I am focused, I am at my best. And when I see evil before me, festering in the minds of the defenseless...I get angry. The match will be great. You're talented and determined, but I must crush this determination for you to see that you are more than what you put yourself to be. ...I take no solace in what I have to do, but it must be done."
Fade to black.
