Salman Van Dam is making a return. He was on a brief sabbatical from the company after he was booted from the tournament. He felt it was necessary to take break from all his in-ring endeavors which he did with great ease. He enjoyed it, he was happy to be back home in his country land, but then again his break wasn't supposed to last long. He was planning to come back on television rather early. He hinted few times to make his actual appearance at sixth edition of Unstoppable. He had plans to ruin Bryce entire campaign and have his so called revenge. They say KARMA is a bitch, and believe me it really is. A bitch that you don't want to mess up with. Now after almost three months of absence the so called Hardcore Icon returns but would his return be as big as many of his fans thought it should be. No it's not really big at all. It's an EFFIN dark match. A non televised match and why would they have him in a dark match, well isn't it obvious, the management here in MSW doesn't have anything planned for him, despite him laying out the entire layout to feud with Bryce Manning. I guess those two encounters will always be the only two matches he would ever get.
Originally Salman wanted to screw Bryce from the tournament, so he could have Bryce in a far more personal battle but that didn't happen. Instead Salman is set against one man that he lost to ... Ian Windermear (hope, I spelled the name right lol). Ian eliminated Salman Van Dam from the tournament, but to be honest it wasn't Ian.. Salman wanted to be out of the tournament. He didn't had his heart into the tournament at all. Do you want to know why ? Well of course you do.
I wish his return happened with a melancholic song or a track build by Han Zimmer, but who are we kidding ? MSW and any other efederation in the world would never take Salman Van Dam to be in that calibre where he should be appreciated, except his loyal fans. He is coming back and agree to compete in this dark match for the people that will be in attendance, even if they are not in large numbers.
Our camera begins to cue up backstage as the scene slowly begins to show some light. We see a huge white wall with the Pakistan Flag being hanged up against it. Salman was rubbing his hands intensively as the Hardcore Icon finally steps in front of the camera, this time without any alcoholic beverages in his hand. He slowly leans his hands down as he glares at the lens, tilting his head to the left and then steering right straight as he finally opens up.
" Yes I been gone far too long. But it wasn't all my fault. The company didn't have anything planned for me but now when there is an open season they decided to give me a green lit. They decided to have me back on the card and I agree to it. I agree, because that is what the fans at MSW audience want. They want me back on the card so I thank you all for the support. I thank you to hold on to your breath. I thank you for not forgetting me at all. I thank you. I owe my gratitude in deep depth. You all can't imagine how great of a debt it is ? but I will fulfill all your needs. I can promise you all that. I will bring the entertainment back in MS DUBYA .. with no egos, with no frustration, with no agenda and with no vendetta. You will see me as a man with freewill. Don't you wish it was you who was standing with that belt and not Manning. Truth be told, I wish it wasn't Bryce but since he's the champ who already has his hands full. I on the other hand have nothing much left, beside go one on one with you. I am going to fight you and will I be giving my very best ? The question is would you be able to sustain my best? Would you be able to survive my very best... You should know the last time we fought and I am being honest here. My heart wasn't in it, I wasn't feeling motivated to even compete in the whole tournament and that is the only reason why you surpassed me? You surpass me cause I let you so yes this rematch is set to prove you to be the better man than me. You can be better than me, but I am the best than you. I am the best and I don't need to prove it to you or anyone else. I have proven myself enough, I have earned my full share of glories but the only mountain that is left for me to climb is the Mount Manning and you're one of the stones that I am going to step on. It's not that I want to, but I have to. Ask yourself this ? Are you prepared to be squashed ? Because I am prepare to do anything and everything. "

You see I been feeling aggravated as of late, for not getting things the way I wanted where as everyone else on the roster had a roller coaster ride. Which for them is a best thing ? Its because they have the ups and downs of their thrilling and exciting career. They partake and cherished many valuable moments and I have yet to make a moment that would be staple to my name. Competing in a dark match against you won't help me attain that but it would definitely put me back on the radar and I will not lie -- I do want to be on that RADAR. I do want that attention, many people here say they aren't attention seekers that is because they are lying to themselves. They are the real hypocrites...I for one, I am not. I openly declare, I admit I seek attention and i want to seek an audience with the champion. In next few Unstoppable people will see a new contender in rising. You know , I come from Pakistan and when my skin and country both comes to question. I get misjudged, misjudged a lot and I am not really fan of that, but I do feel amused, and not just my skin but my wrestling skills have always been misjudged. People think I am too weak, I am not fit to be anything but naysayers will always talk shit, but the truth is I am still the BEST at what I have done and what I accomplish to do.. so Ian as The Pakistani Traditionalist, its time we take things to bit EXTREME!! "
