The camera focuses in on Akua standing on the beach as the sun was going down, Akua stood with his back to the camera as it began to zoom in on him he had his knees bent slightly wearing only his wrestling gear he stared out at the water, he began chanting in hawaiian.
“Make loa, Ola, Koa Pu'ali, Makua, Make loa, Ola, Koa Pu'ali, Makua, Make loa, Ola, Koa Pu'ali, Makua,”
The Island warrior slowly turned his head to towards the camera
“Death, Life, Warrior, God, Death, Life Warrior, God,” Akua chanted.
The Camera panned to the front of him, Akua closed his eyes as he continued chanting in Hawaiian, a slight smile came over his face.
“The spirits of the ancient warriors flow through my veins, the Goddess Pele protects me, I roam the Island with the Night Marchers the God Ku-Ka-ili-moku watches over as I step into the ring” Akua continued.
The Island Warrior slowly opened his left hand revealing a Naupaka flower, from the beach, he then slowly released opened his right hand revealing another Naupaka flower.
“As the Legend goes Naupaka was a beautiful princess who fell in love with a commoner named Kaui. The star-crossed lovers could never marry and so Naupaka vowed to stay in the mountains while Kaui remained along the ocean. Before parting for the very last time, however, Naupaka took the flower from her hair and tore it in half, giving it to Kaui. Even the nearby plants were saddened by the scene, and the very next day they began to bloom only half flowers in honor of the separated lovers, never forget where you come from, never forget the past, keep the legends alive,” he finished.
Suddenly the camera shut off abruptly.
