Open scene on a simple man. Heavyset to a point. He's not defined his hollywood good looks' or even hisdebonaire attire. Just a simple Hawaiian shirt, a fedora, and some white pants to help offset the Missouri heat. davis Wiley was out for a walk today, contemplating his entry into the main event battle royal at Unstopable, where the winner would become the new number one contender to Bryce Manning, and the MSW Championship. This was the setup for Davis' redemption. A smile came pver his face, as he began to speak.
"They say ya never get a second chance at ah first impression. Well in most cases that may very well be true, but for me here in Missourah State Wrestlin, ah feel that ah have been given that very chance. Ah battle royale to determine the next number one contender to Bryce Mannin and the MSW championship. Now, ah messed up mah original chance in the tournament, but this is mah chance to show that ah am still quite capable of holdin that title, and bein the man to topple the Architect, as it were. Ah know that ah will have to go through twenty four other men at the same time but if ah have learned anythin from mah time in this business of pro wrestlin, its that odds tend to be in ya favor the less ya interaction is within these typeof matches, ya see?"
He pointed at his head with a smile on his face.
"Its not cowardice by any stretch of the means. Its simply understandin the game that we all play. Bryce Mannin is a coward, talkin about how no one is fit to face him, and how he should be the undisputed champion. Well mahdear boy Bryce. Please allow me to beg your indulgence for just a moment. See, ya ignorance is somethin that quite honestly astounds me. Ah man who calls himself the Architect ah would be led to believe is much smarter than ya come across. See, ya come across to me as someone who is so full of his own ego that it is clouding his judgement and his thought process as to what is best for this companah. What is truly best for ah real challenger to stepup, and prove to the world that ya are not the unbeatable man ya say ya are, mister Mannin. Ah do think that its high time for the south to rise again...well, the Southern Gentleman, anyways. Ah be seein ya soon, mister Mannin...ah am sure of that."
With a simple nod of his hat, hisfinger touching the brim, we fade to static to end the scene.
