As the scene opens up we see Charles Matias standing backstage in the MSW arena. The arena was usually a busy place even during the downtime since the duties and responsibilities of the front office were never truly over as calls were made to potential talent and sponsors as well as the usual paperwork. The Stevensons and Justin Gravitt had a lot on their plate with the promotion continuing to expand to say the least but the morale was always upbeat and high, you could tell everyone enjoyed their jobs and coming to work. We see Frank Washington and Alex Smith walking down the hallway carrying on a conversation that the cameras can’t completely make out. He was visiting Alex Smith and a few friends in the front office on his day off having recently returned early from his vacation in Hawaii due to a change of plans. Frank was still limping but not nearly as bad as he was on the last Unstoppable as he body was still on the path to recovery from his hectic schedule but he was finally officially cleared by MSW medical staff. Charles walks towards Frank and Alex extending his hand towards the two friends as they each shake it.
Charles Matias: Frank, Alex, good to see you. What brings you here on your day off?
Frank Washington: Just here visiting some friends.
Alex Smith: I Had a broadcast staff meeting with Bradford and the rest of the production crew.
Charles Matias nods.
Charles Matias: Certainly a pleasant surprise. Hey Frank while you’re here do you mind answering a few questions for the MSW fans?
Frank Washington: I don’t see why not.
Frank turns to Alex and pats his friend on the back.
Frank Washington: We’ll meet up later. You want to come over and have dinner with Shawna and I later?
Alex Smith: I wouldn’t want to impose Frank, but I appreciate the invitation.
Frank Washington: Nonsense Alex, we would love to have you over, you’re family after all!
Alex smiles and nods as he begins heading for the exit knowing Charles Matias had an interview to do.
Alex Smith: Alright, I’ll be over tonight!
Frank then turns his attention back to Charles who wasted no time summoning a camera crew for this impromptu interview.
Charles Matias: Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly welcome all the MSW fans watching this from MSW.com for this very special interview. My guest at this time is a fan favorite to many in Missouri, The Revolutionary Frank Washington!
Frank Washington: It’s a pleasure to be here Charles.
Charles Matias: Now I know you’re not one for interviews and you tend to make a habit of handling your promo shoots personally but since I have a few moments with you I’d like to ask you a few questions. First off I’d like to start by saying I don’t think I’ve seen quite a brawl like the one you and Robert Garland engaged in back at Best of the Best and one has to imagine that you’re both still suffering the effects nearly a month later. Now Justin Gravitt made a blockbuster announcement last week regarding the tag team tournament and to the shock of everyone in attending and watching at home the final team entered was you and your longtime rival. What’s running through your mind as you’re preparing for a match with a man who may not exactly be willing to be a team player?
Frank releases a heavy sigh and scowls a little as the memory was still very fresh in his memory.
Frank Washington: How do I feel Charles? I’m livid! I had plans to manage the team of Love and War for the tournament, a team I managed in the past before the sun set on that other promotion. They’re two of the hardest working graduates of the Emerald Academy and I was content to watch on the sidelines for once, it’s their time to shine if they seize the opportunity. Now I don’t blame MSW management or Giant for making this pairing because I understand this is a business and tickets need to be sold and bills need to be paid but from a personal standpoint I think it’s a disastrous decision. Did you see the hell we put each other through at Best of the Best?
Charles Matias: I was very close to it before camera’s caught back up to the two of you. You and Badger caused thousands of dollars in damages and lost revenue. Do you think this is a form of punishment for the mass chaos the two of you caused and your repeated team assaults on security?
Frank Washington: It very we well might be the case and honestly? I’d rather take a suspension if they feel the need to punish us. This is supposed to be about tag team wresting and the crowning of the first MSW Tag Team Champions, not two men who absolutely HATE each other spilling into the tournament and causing mass chaos. Stefan Wallace and Deacon Cash deserve a great wrestling match when they make their wrestling debut against a cohesive tag team and right now I can’t give that to them. It’s either going to end up as a handicap match because my partner is going to walk out on me or the match is going to get thrown out because another all-out brawl breaks out. But as an employee of MSW I’ll wrestle in whatever match they book me in regardless of the circumstances, I not only owe to the fans but to Danny and Drew Stevenson and all of MSW management for giving me the opportunity to do what I do best in the middle of that ring. I just don’t want to let any of them down because of a personal vendetta getting in the way.
Charles Matias: Aright, I respect that Frank. I’d just like to take this opportunity to ask you one more question before we conclude this interview.
Frank Washington: Shoot away.
Charles Matias: As a fan who’s your favorite to win the over the top battle royal in this week’s main event to earn the right to challenge Bryce Manning at Back to Basics?
Frank grins as he looks at the camera.
Frank Washington: Tommy Angel is going to win it all. Peyton Von Licht, I’m a big fan of your work and while your time will come you’re right to fear the man. They don’t call him the Afternoon Delight for nothing and I’m sure when it comes down to the wire… MSW’s Personal Hero will come up short against MSW’s Green Ranger. It’s sybian time!
Frank grins at the inside joke as he walks away, leaving Charles Matias perplexed and dumbfounded as the scene fades to black.
