MSW Backstage - Live Event
Wednesday, June 11th, 2014
Ah, another live event. You had some of the fresher talent getting out there. Peyton looked on backstage. He had been at most of the live events since becoming number one contender once again. It was right in his mind. Luke, Bryce, and himself should be showing their faces more often to hype up one of the biggest matches in MSW's short history. Peyton was backstage, watching Loose Cannon pick up a victory on Joshua Stevenson, he thought. Robert Fields soon approached him, camera crew behind him. Ah, yes, it was about time. Robert Fields: "Peyton, Peyton, inquiring fans want to know; how do you feel about Ian Windermear's assault on you last week?" Robert was quick with getting to the point. It was a pleasant feeling. Peyton's mood switched as he mentioned Ian. Yeah, he had some words for him. He took the microphone from Fields. Peyton: "So, throughout our time knowing each other, Ian has been through two abysmal points in his career. The first being he was a world champion contender back in the first federation we met. Now, he is here in MSW, where he once again had the opportunity to prove himself. He failed again. I tried to help him. I tried to encourage him to get back on his feet, but then...he attacked me." Peyton let silence fall for a moment before continuing. Peyton: "He teamed up with Leo Banks, then the two assaulted me. You know, I was not angry at that moment. I was disappointed. Yes, I was disappointed in Ian. Banks? I expected as much out of him. He doesn't have the motivation to be a part of the spotlight like he wants. He rather sit behind his damn computer screen and shout out people on Twitter. He is going to get his when Scotty Adams stomps his head in. And Leo," He looked towards the camera. Peyton: "If you dare send anyone in to try to interfere, I might come out there and be the hero that I am. Because Scotty is too good of a superstar not to deserve your respect and attention." Peyton: "Back to the subject of Ian Windermear. Ian, you messed up big time this time. If you saw what I did to Neforian when he decided to be the Joker to my Batman, as you put it, then you know what is about to happen to you." Fields intervened. Fields: "And what is that, Peyton?" Peyton smirked. Peyton: "I am going to beat his ass." With that, Peyton walked off, choosing not to respond anymore. Fade to black. |

Ian Windermear is in the back. He has heard through the rumor mill what Peyton Von Licht had said about him.
Ian Windermear: So Peyton wants to talk about me. He wants to talk about how I have thrown away all of my chances that I have had.
Great let him do it. Let him drag my name in the mud. I don't give a shit about what he says or what he thinks. He wants to face me I tell him bring it. I don't care because I will walk in that ring against him and I will beat him. He wants to be the "Personal Hero" of MSW and all of that jazz thats great as well because you have to live up to something in your life and it might as well be something as useless as that.
Peyton is disappointed in me oh that is so sad. Peyton if you want to face me in the ring we can make it happen. That simple don't beat around the bush just come down to that ring and face me like a man. |

Fields found himself once again next to Peyton von Licht. Peyton had already taken the microphone and nodded his head at the camera.
Peyton: "Ian, do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth right now? This is not about me being a hero for MSW right now. This is just me, standing up to the people who have wronged me and continue to wrong me. This is about me being a man. And I stick by what I stand a little while ago."
Peyton: "If and when we get a match against each other, I am going to kick your ass. I am going to beat you like your mother and father should have. I am not going to 'beat around the bush'. Talk to Giant, Stevenson, or whoever you want to get this match. And after you do that, you sit there in your locker room and think about how the hell you are going to avoid the beating I am going to lay down upon you. I am ending this when we fight each other. Then I am going to go end Leo Banks like I should have before. I am going to end Neforian, cancel the Apocalypse, and defeat Bryce Manning and Luke Jackson for the MSW Championship!"
Peyton: "Ian, I gave you a chance to redeem yourself and you didn't do it. So, I am no longer sorry about what I have to do to you."

Ian smiles as he hears what Peyton has to say.
Ian Windermear: If we have a match Peyton?
If we have one?
Oh I know we will. We will have one and I will beat you. You have confidence though and I like that. I like to go into a match with someone that wants to be there. It makes it that much sweeter when I beat that person. And I will beat you when we have a match. Oh I know you are going to bring everything to this match and I want that. I want to battle with you. Why? Because I have something for you that I don't have for many people and that is respect. But try and hurt me. We will see how far that goes.
