It was a good debut, but your style reminds me of a monologue style of a promo roleplay

It was a good debut, but your style reminds me of a monologue style of a promo roleplay I tend to agree with this.
In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that style shouldn't even be considered as a "role-play" itself. Which is fine, for a developmental piece, but if you do that for a match; then that's a problem in my eyes.
Bare in mind, I'm not staff; so my opinion is only as relevant as you make it.
Naturally, this style can easily be adapted into what I'd consider a role-play, without having to be switched up entirely. Look to the likes of the way Peyton writes his Cameron character - I'd like to see you have a stab at that style.
Al in all, it was good. Enjoyable, even. But regardless, not a "role-play" for me.

Interesting.
I've been writing this style, which some people call 'Naked Shoot', almost exclusively for multiple characters since 1997. In all that time, I've had people who love it, people who hate it, but never anyone call it completely invalid before. That being said, the guy who scouted me (who I think is staff here, although I'm not sure) for this place and who asked me to sign up here was more than familiar with the style I write, having watched me do it with 3 characters in Force One and 2 in Legacy.
I am sorry you don't enjoy it though. I will point out that since I'm booked against someone this week that everyone seems to agree won't show, I didn't put a ton of heavy research or thought into this one, and as a result, it's short even for me. Nonetheless, the style is unlikely to change as this old dog isn't about to start in on new tricks, but as always, if you're right and my style is as offensive to the staff as it is to you, it shouldn't take too long to figure that out... in which case we'll just amicably part ways.
Thanks for the honest feedback.

He said he did enjoy it, also, he didn't he say it was invalid.
With that being said, role-playing is, in its most basic form, taking on the role of someone else and playing it out. So technically, this is a role-play by that definition. If role-playing is just a form of acting, monologues are a valid form of the art.
But, if all your role-plays were this way, it wouldn't make for much variety, it's true.
