Hey all! Dunno whether you remember me, but I was someone who originally signed up a while back - however due to being a bit disillusioned by the way a previous e-fed I was on turned out and then a solid run of final year uni work took priority/over my life. I'm back now - yay!Basically I just posted my RP for the dark match with Frank Washington I got coming. The main thing I want to ask about is how much do I have to adjust the promo style here? I've read the rules and it seems this place has a clear idea what it's looking for in its promo's and I dunno whether any of you have seen me before but my style was always based around narrative driven stories. I did do the 'straight' shoot promo stuff, but it was never really my strong point so some pointers on that would be great please Also - whats the deal on editing the promo on here? I realised in the one I've just posted that I left out a speech mark here and there and want to correct it (call it OCD more than anything) but I do realise that some places had some pretty harsh rules on that sort of behaviour. Am I allowed to touch up that promo or is it a case of be more careful in future?

? Where would you not be allowed to edit your own promo?? It's a part of the board itself. I'm not a manager, but I know for a fact you can touch up your role-plays, as I've done that plenty of times. Anyway, good stuff, I'd just say from an aesthetic point of view to perhaps add a touch of colour, but that could just be me.

Thanks for the answer though - now I can satisfy that OCD and sleep easy tonight!

I read your role-play, and... I liked it.
Now, I will say this, as I said to someone else recently; personally, I don't consider your style an actual "role-play" - but that is beside the point, as I'm not staff. Thus, my opinion is only as valid as you make it.
I like the Dylan Thomas character. I like how he didn't shy away from his less than stellar history here, and displayed a lot of desire and passion within what he said.
My only advice would be, add a little description; and some color for variety.
