It was a mostly cloudy day in Fairborn Ohio and you could feel the humidity in the air as you are walking from the parking lot of Oaks Quarry Park on the outskirts of town into the majestic park itself. As you walk down this winding dirt path in the park, you hear a familiar voice humming a song. As you follow the voice down the path a bit more, you smile when you see that it is Marisol Hawkes sitting on a large boulder and looking out over the park. A man was standing there with a camera and Marisol looks over as she hears footsteps. Marisol sees you and smiles meekly at you.
“Have a seat.”
Marisol points over to a bench that was to the right of where she is sitting. You make your way over, just listening to her hum and write stuff in a notebook. The man with the camera just smiled as he put the camera on the tripod that was sitting to her left. As you sit on a bench that was near Marisol, a slight warm breeze blew over your face. You look out over the majestic quarry that was turned into a park and Marisol just smiled at you.
“Pretty isn’t it? I come here to think about a lot of things that happen in my life over the past month and a half. I got back into the wrestling business about a month ago and it has been a whirlwind ride to say the least. I come back and in two weeks I became the PWX Hybrid Champion. I also had a shot at the Second City Wrestling world title. I trained with a few MSW people to prepare me for that. However I have had some ‘not so good’ moments in my life…mainly with my wrestling career. I will admit, with Pro Wrestling X closing its doors…I am not that sad. I got to leave as their Hybrid Champion and for that I am proud of. I have been on a bit of a 'slump' lately and that is something I am not fond of.”
Marisol took a heavy sigh and then wrote something in her pink and black notebook that was sitting on her right leg. Marisol finished writing down her thoughts and then she looked back over at you with a serious look upon her face. The camera zoomed in as she began to speak.
"I made the choice to sign to a company because I had to 'fill the void' of PWX so to speak. I learned a lot from the people I faced over at PWX, and that is why I chose to sign with MSW. I want to learn so much more. I didn't realize this, but I apparently am a hot topic. Which is why the management booked me in this women of tradition tag team match apparently. Four women of tradition walk in, but only one pair makes it out of this match with the victory."
Marisol chuckled and you frowned a bit. The warm breeze is still blowing across everyone’s face as the man holding the camera adjusted his positioning a bit while Marisol went to sitting with her knees close to her chest a bit. She just looks over at the camera before staring back out at the nature that was in front of her.
"Heather Jones is a bit of a spitfire to say the least. She reminds me of a younger version of...me. Thinking I was all that when I really wasn't and standing up for what she thought was right. However if she lets that spitfire type temper get the better of her, then she will be the one to lose when I put my boot to her face. If you don't believe me, watch the SCW match where Liz Smalls got that fluke victory over me to see what I am capable of when I let my temper get the better of me. No one wants to cross that bridge. You may think it is smack talk, but I haven't even seen the work of Heather or her tag partner Farrah. Yet they probably think they will win this important match."
Marisol closed her eyes a bit and took a deep breath. She then moves her legs to hang down over the rock as she continues to speak about her debut.
"Farrah sounds like a name for someone who wants to model and not wrestle. You don't sign with MSW if you are not tough. People have up and called me an outright bully, and what I am about to say may sound a bit petty. People can't kill what is divine in the pro wrestling world. Divinity never dies, and most don't see that. Now yes...I have 'gotten along' with Heather and my tag team partner on social media, but I am going to be out there on an island all my own. Sorry Christine, but in wrestling you can't trust anyone."
Marisol hops off of the rock and dusts off her pants. The sun was giving the sky and orange tint as clouds continued to filter the sun through them. The man that was manning the camera stood up as Marisol looked at you with a smirk on her face.
"My final words for this transmission. I don't care which one of us get the pinfall Christine. We both better get the job done. If we don't...then I will feel real sorry for you after the match. You ladies have the honor of gracing divinity, so get prepared for a divine intervention. I will be the one on top. Like I said before. Divinity. Never. Dies."
Marisol motioned for the camera to be turned off as she grabbed her pen and notebook. You stared at the couple for a moment as Marisol kissed the man that was holding the camera and tripod. As you just sat there in awe, Marisol and the gentleman with her walked off talking about a vacation in San Diego in their near future.
