It was almost show time. In just two days, Missouri State Wrestling would debut four new women into its ranks, all wanting a shot at it's prestigious champion, Artemis Kaiser. One woman that was ready to prove her salt was Farrah Farris. Training, day in and day out, was tiresome, but all of it was bound to be worth every minute spent within the training facility. However, today was much different. After getting her workout routine finished earlier in the day, Farris had found herself in front of a handful of creative directors, a few photographers, and esteemed make-up artists; it was time for a photoshoot. As a woman in the wrestling industry, you were always bound to be photographed for the male audiences, especially if looked at as eye candy. Farrah Farris knew all too well what it was like to be looked at like nothing more than a piece of meat. However, she had shown many times in her past that should could run and tumble with the best of them when it came to getting into the ring. With no name or reputation within a promotion like Missouri State Wrestling, this was merely an opportunity to get her face out there, to acquire a following, and there was surely nothing wrong with a little publicity. While Farrah had done some modeling in her past, she was never a professional, and therefore required direction from the photographers, who helped position her for the flashing bulbs. Pose after pose, Farrah shed an illustrious smile for the cameras, her radiance picked up in each, individual shot.
Farris' tanned figure was wrapped in freshly made attire, one that MSW's official seamstress had likely poured alot of precious time into. Scanning down her figure, Farrah's breasts were pushed upwards in her bra-like top, her cleavage maximized, but also held tightly into place to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions that could potentially come with being an active, in-ring competitor. Up the length of Farrah's arms were a matching set of arm-warmers, glittering proudly in the same bubblegum shade of pink that added a certain sweetness to her overall demeanor. Panning down past her slender tummy and down to her waist, rested a thick belt, which crowned a pair of white hot pants that clung to Farrah's hips flawlessly. Finishing off the ensemble was a pair of sturdy, knee high boots, properly laced, as if she were actually ready for intense action. Reaching her hands up to her head, Farrah fluffed her platinum blonde tresses, giving another range of poses for the men behind the cameras, her friendly and positive energy speaking for itself within her newly taken photographs. As the photoshoot began to wrap up, Farrah made her way off the set before deciding to approach one of the men holding an MSW-branded camera, one that had the ability to live-stream onto the website. Giving a small nod, he knew exactly what she was wanting to do and shot his finger up to signal that he was recording. Without skipping a beat, Farrah began.
"Missouri State Wrestling fans, we meet again! Y'know, I was wondering when I'd get another chance to address all of you again. Now, with the anticipated Unstoppable #11 just around the corner, I find it to be a priority to fill you in on the ongoings in my blonde, little head and what I have planned going into this contest. The last time we spoke, I was simply focusing on just the opportunity of being able to make my debut in such a great promotion, let alone with women that have been doing this for so much longer than I have! Honestly, it's an honor. I want nothing more than to go out there and show them that I can be just as much on their level as I believe I can be. Because of this, I've tried not to listen too much to the promotional activity from my opposition; after all, it's sort of an attempt for them to get under my skin, ruffle my feathers .. and I'm not really here for that. I was always told: actions speak louder than words. Marisol Hawkes-James and Christine Nash are more than welcome to throw whatever threats they want my way, or even Heather Jones' way, but at the end of the day, it's what unfolds in that ring that counts. I remember touching on the fact that myself and Heather are greener than grass compared to our opponents come Thursday, but you should never, ever discount persistence, eagerness, and determination .. all of which I have going into the match. There's always a chance of those three traits overcoming something along the lines of arrogance via experience."
Farrah gave an adorable shrug and some angled eyebrows to match. The implication of her opposition coming into the match, expecting to win, was there, and Farrah was simply suggesting that she couldn't careless what they had done in their past to get to this point. Sure, what they had done was commendable, respectable .. but they was just as new as she was in MSW, and The Blonde Bombshell was looking at it as an even playing field. It was a new terrain for all four women that were competing. Brushing a strand of blonde hair from her face, Farris spoke again, this time starting on a lighter note with talk of her tag partner.
"I know that Heather Jones is on the same page that I am right now. We both know that we have what it takes to go out there and really kick some serious butt. If you strip Marisol and Christine of all their previous accomplishments, then they're just like Heather and I .. brand new and wanting to make a splash. After all, previous title victories and accolades shouldn't come into effect on Thursday night. What comes into effect on Thursday night is simply the willpower within each of us to win and come out victorious. Right now, I wholeheartedly believe that Heather and I have that extra touch of motivation in wanting to prove ourselves against a couple of well-seasoned veterans. And while them being veterans could give them the upperhand, I know that I'm personally a fast-learner; my mind is like, a sponge, basically! That's the great thing about this industry; when you're new, you have some individuals that are willing to take time out of their day to help you, to teach you .. people like Ulysses from LEGACY, who I absolutely adore, spending time with me in the gym and getting me prepared. You even have women like Christy Lethal, who have written hard-hitting articles and even wrestled in the ring themselves before, offering words of motivation and hyping us Women of Tradition up for our bouts! The kindness is there with everyone, if you choose to see it and act on it. I'm so blessed to be in a company such as MSW, where the competition is fierce, management isn't racist, and equal opportunities are given to everyone. Come Thursday, the opportunity to pick up my first victory is mine for the taking, and I'd be foolish to not do everything in my power to achieve it. See you on Thursday, MSW!"
After a playful wave of her right hand, a smile tugged at the corners of Farrah Farris' lips. Her smile was similar to sunshine, her presence truly able to warm an entire room. Farrah was all about the fans, in almost every way imaginable. She wanted to be a talent that would constantly fill her followers in on everything that was going on in her day, how she prepared for events, and what she planned to accomplish going into her contests. Being one with the masses that loyally followed the MSW brand brought Farris pure happiness. Turning away from the camera, Farrah floated out of the frame with grace, as the scene faded away to darkness.
